I'll try to add adequate references Olaf404 (talk) 09:12, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:FinSurge, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I want to write about my workplace. Also, I have disclosed that I'm a paid editor in my user page. Could you please give some guidance to publish Wikipedia page about my workplace. Is writing about a company itself is unambiguous advertisement or is there any way I can correct it?
Also, I can see about many companies in Wikipedia. Why can't I publish this? Could you also please tell which part makes this content unambiguous advertisement. Olaf404 (talk) 02:15, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

FinSurge moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to FinSurge. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Wikishovel (talk) 07:12, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Olaf404. I am just replying to this as you have re-submitted the draft again with no improvement.
Companies must pass our WP:NORG notability criteria in order to merit a Wikipedia article. You have not demonstrated notability. You have also written the draft in a promotional way - we don't care what the company states about itself in press releases or interviews, we care about what independent third party reliable sources have to say.
The existence of other articles has no bearing on if this draft should be accepted: we judge each article independently. Unfortunately Wikipedia has many tens of thousands of poor quality articles, and we certainly don't want to add more.
If you have been asked by your supervisor to write this article, please read WP:BOSS. Qcne (talk) 10:45, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can understand. Could you please guide me in correcting it? Olaf404 (talk) 10:59, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have tried to rewrite but still couldn't make it in a neutral sense as it is for a company. Olaf404 (talk) 10:59, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You should be finding independent, secondary, reliable sources (such as newspapers, magazines, not press releases) that discusses the company in detail and then summarise or paraphrase those sources in your own words.
The reasons why it reads like an advert are as follows:
  1. FinSurge is a software company that has been delivering Fintech solutions to the Treasury Global Markets & Banking Ecosystems since 2017 - See WP:SOLUTIONS.
  2. FinSurge has been doing Murex. software consultation, Software Development & Murex software implementations for investment and wholesale banks. - this is just an advert for it's services.
  3. FinSurge is also recognized as the leading global consultancy for innovative financial software development for consumer banking - who says it is recognised as a leading global consultancy? This must be stated in an independent, secondary, reliable source.
  4. FinSurge began its IT operations with a team of 15 employees. FinSurge has continued to expand its workforce and it currently has over 270 employees. - Unsourced.
  5. With the continuous growth, FinSurge entered a new level of business partnership with Murex company - this is just marketing-speak and is inappropriate.
  6. With 27 years of business experience, FinSurge has been providing solutions for trading, risk management, and processing for banks, and other financial institutions# - WP:SOLUTIONS again.
  7. The company's growth, innovations, and its impact on the FinTech landscape - what innovations, what impact? These must be described in independent, secondary, reliable sources.
  8. It has shown interest in many community and philanthropic activities - this is irrelevant.
As you can see then, almost nothing in the draft is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia. I would honestly give up on this draft, it does not seem like the company is notable enough for inclusion on our project. Qcne (talk) 11:08, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank You! Will try to find reliable source and come up with better draft Olaf404 (talk) 11:36, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
