You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 23:55, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Soccer players may be deleted

Oltian can you please reference the soccer players of this list when you have some time? Otherwise they'll risk to be deleted soon as unreferenced BLPs. --Sulmues Let's talk 13:17, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

WP Albania's Contributor of the Month of July

Hi, and congratulations for being the Contributor of the Month of July in WikiProject Albania. Since there were no objections, my proposal that you be named the contributor of the Month of July for WikiProject Albania went through and I entered your name here. This list was initiated by me to encourage Albanian users in the English Wikipedia. You have my recognition. --Sulmues (talk) 18:41, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks alot mate, im honoured but I only do this for abit of fun and to make Albanian football more modern and advanced in way that many all over the world (including Albanians wherever they may be) can learn more about Albanian football. Thanks for the nomination and I will keep the work rate oltianruci (talk) 20:11, 13 July 2010

Vandalism any?

Oltian have you found it easy to revert vandalism in sports pages so far? If yes, you might be interested in becoming a rollbacker. Let me know if you are interested. It's a powerful tool. --Sulmues (talk) 17:00, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

What will this involve exacly ? And I'm going Albania in a few days so I wont be able to do much in the next four weeks. --oltianruci (talk) 21:34, 21 July 2010

I hope you have fun in Albania. And thank you for starting D.U.D.A.. So: If someone (usually an IP editor) has made many edits to an article, completely messing it up, you roll back all the edits with one click, rather than undoing every single move. It's really cool, but I would invite you first to use Twinkle through Moxilla (or Safari), and then apply for rollback status. In fact, at the application they see for a history of vandalisms' removals before granting rollbacker status.
Bottom line: Get Modzilla and start using it. Go to preferences and turn on Twinkle, and start doing some vandalisms reverting with Twinkle. This will unable you to keep control over your articles and you'll have lots of fun. Once that you are familiar with Twinkle, the rollback feature will be really helpful to make things even easier. Let me know if you have more questions. --Sulmues (talk) 20:54, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

London Wikimedia Fundraiser

Good evening! This is a friendly message from Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry, inviting you to the London Wikimedia Fundraising party on 19th December 2010, in approximately one week. This party is being held at an artistic London venue with room for approximately 300 people, and is being funded by Ed Saperia, a non-Wikipedian who has a reputation for holding exclusive events all over London. This year, he wants to help Wikipedia, and is subsidising a charity event for us. We're keen to get as many Wikimedians coming as possible, and we already have approximately 200 guests, including members of the press, and some mystery guests! More details can be found at http://ten.wikipedia.org/wiki/London - expect an Eigenharp, a mulled wine hot tub, a free hog roast, a haybale amphitheatre and more. If you're interested in coming - and we'd love to have you - please go to the ten.wikipedia page and follow the link to the Facebook event. Signing up on Facebook will add you to the party guestlist. Entry fee is a heavily subsidised £5 and entry is restricted to over 18s. It promises to be a 10th birthday party to remember! If you have any questions, please email me at chasemewiki at gmail.com.

Hope we'll see you there, (and apologies for the talk page spam) - Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 23:38, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Avni Latifi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. EchetusXe 00:52, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
