Please provide the requested cite or put back the request I added for a citation. Edit summaries are not the place for citations. SovalValtos (talk) 17:43, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have added references where I removed the request. The reference to the Independent Senate Group is in my opinion superfluous but I nevertheless added it because of your repeated request. Otto (talk) 21:23, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but Wikipedia cannot be a source for itself. SovalValtos (talk) 02:44, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

World Ecological Parties[edit]

I have just deleted World Ecological Parties under criteria for speedy deletion A7. I noted your challenge to the speedy deletion on the talk page,

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it has historical value. The WEP has been active for some years. Some of the Member Parties still exist (like the ÖDP).

However, existence does not amount to an assertion of importance. It is even further from the notability requirement which would be the test if this ever went to a full deletion debate. Of course, if you can provide reliable sources that are inependent of the WEP and discuss it in more detail than merely noting its existence or mentioning it in passing then I would be happy to restore the article.
