Disambiguation in article titles[edit]

I see that you have moved some articles about places to new titles which contain a specification of where the place is: for example, you moved Srirampura to Srirampura, Mysore. Wikipedia's naming conventions normally prefer the simpler for, and adding a further description is used only when there is more than on article which otherwise would have the same title. Even then, if there is one place with the particular name which is more prominent than the others, that one does not require disambiguation: thus, for example, while we have articles on London, Arkansas, London, California, London, Ontario, London, France and so on, we also have an article on London, not on "London, England". You should therefore not make page moves of that kind unless there are also Wikipedia articles on other places with the same name, and even then, it is not always appropriate to do so.
