Hi, the previously uploaded content was not correct and hence, had to be updated to the current format. PRISH123 (talk) 12:41, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
On the one hand, your formatting was improper for Wikipedia standards. You used all capitals improperly (see MOS:ALLCAPS). You did not provide reliable sources for your additions, and you deleted the references from the prior version. You also deleted the categories at the bottom of the article for classification of it. —C.Fred (talk) 12:46, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at 125 SATA Regiment (India). June 2024[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at 125 SATA Regiment (India), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. The History section you added lack any references to reliable sources, preferably independent secondary sources, about the history of the unit.C.Fred (talk) 12:47, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Repeating the warning above: this edit is unacceptable, and a repeat will result in your account being blocked. You removed all references for the unit awards, and the section is improperly formatted in all caps. —C.Fred (talk) 12:55, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, as per the guidelines perculated to us from the higher HQs. We are not supposed to give out sensitive data, like the detail of the operations on wikipedia and hence, the necessary amendments are being carried out. All unit references had to be removed because putting the same is against the norms of disclosing data on the internet. I hope you understand. Thanks. PRISH123 (talk) 13:01, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
First, if you're editing on the directive of a commanding officer, you need to make the necessary paid editing disclosures as required by the Wikimedia Foundation.
Second, even if you're not editing under a direct order or within your MOS (or whatever the Indian Army calls them), you have a conflict of interest due to your connection with the unit.
Finally, the norm is to cite the sources for the information, especially when the sources have already been published on the internet! —C.Fred (talk) 13:06, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    Hi,
These directions have been received pan Indian Army to Update/Create a page of the respective units under the following subheads i.e History, ONLY the names of the Operations participated (Not the details of it), Gallantry Awards (if any)/Citations and Achievement in Sports, if any.
    Balance data to be removed.
If you will be kind enough to scroll through other pages, all the units are updating their data in the said format.
Requesting you to kindly allow the same.
    Thankyou. :) PRISH123 (talk) 13:23, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Which "other pages" are you referring to?
And you still need to declare a conflict of interest regardless. Procyon117 (talk) 14:01, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The 'other pages' are the other pages of the Regiments of Indian Army .
How do i declare conflict of interest?
Also, if you can guide me on how to delete this page and make a new one, if that will be a better option? PRISH123 (talk) 14:15, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See this to declare a conflict of interest. If your contributions are paid, see here as mentioned by C.Fred earlier in this thread.
And you do not need to delete the page and make a new one. Use what's already there. Procyon117 (talk) 14:40, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have mentioned appropriate references and will further add more for its authenticity. Thank you :) PRISH123 (talk) 14:50, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    Which references? I don't see where you mentioned any. —C.Fred (talk) 17:00, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 17:13, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Since I've seen similar edits on other articles, I've filed the noticeboard incident to alert other editors that, for lack of a better phrase, Wikipedia is under attack by the Indian army. —C.Fred (talk) 17:15, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
