A tag has been placed on your user page, User:ParadigmShiftTech, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Block notice[edit]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

Our account was blocked due to promotional content, which we now understand is against Wikipedia’s guidelines. We sincerely apologize for this oversight. Our intention was to share information about EPVD technology to inform the public about this innovative process, not to promote our business. We recognize the importance of adhering to Wikipedia’s policies and will not repeat this mistake. We kindly request the unblocking of our account and a username change to one of the following new usernames. Thank you for considering our request.
If unblocked, I intend to contribute to Wikipedia in a manner consistent with its guidelines. My focus will be on:
Adding verifiable and neutral information about topics in the coating technology sector, ensuring all contributions are well-sourced from reliable, third-party references.
Editing existing articles to improve their quality, accuracy, and neutrality.
Engaging with the Wikipedia community to ensure my edits adhere to Wikipedia's content policies, including notability, verifiability, and neutrality.
I propose changing my username to TechKnowledgeShare, which is a name that complies with Wikipedia’s username policy.
Thank you for considering my request. I am committed to making positive contributions to Wikipedia and upholding its standards and policies. ParadigmShiftTech (talk) 19:20, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Do you understand that you are not allowed to share an account? So it won't be "our account", it will be yours as an individual. Deb (talk) 07:34, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
----
Thank you for the clarification, Deb.
I understand that sharing an account is not permitted and I assure you that the account is mine as an individual. I apologize for any confusion caused by my previous message.
I am committed to adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines and making valuable contributions to the community. I propose changing my username to MrAlon60.
Thank you for considering my request. ParadigmShiftTech (talk) 14:16, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @Deb, when shall I expect the removal to my block. I understand not promoting any business including my own on Wikipedia - can I change my username to MrAlon60 and get my block removed? ParadigmShiftTech (talk) 14:23, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See the instructions in the box above, where it says "Appeals". As soon as you've used that template, someone will come along and sort it out. Deb (talk) 14:31, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have read the instructions in the "Appeals" section and have used the template correctly. Is there a need for any other step from my side? When do I expect the block getting lifted @Deb? ParadigmShiftTech (talk) 15:51, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I should explain how this works. When you make an appeal, the fact that you have done so registers only when you follow the instructions explicitly. You hadn't formatted the template correctly (not really your fault - the instructions can be confusing). I've fixed it and someone will be along in the next day or two. I could action it myself but I'd rather it be done by a third party. For their benefit, I'm stating here that I have no objection to the block being lifted. Deb (talk) 15:57, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Understood. Thankyou @Deb for the explanation. ParadigmShiftTech (talk) 16:20, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Renamed and unblocked. Please declare your conflict of interest (WP:COI) before editing any article. Welcome back and happy editing! Yamla (talk) 17:48, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Do you understand you won't be writing about Paradigm Shift Technologies? Do you understand you won't be writing about coating technologies? What do you plan to write about instead? And will you declare your conflict of interest, as required by WP:COI, if unblocked? --Yamla (talk) 17:14, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Yamla, I understand that I will not be writing about Paradigm Shift Technologies or coating technologies. Instead, I plan to focus on contributing to a variety of topics unrelated to my business, such as general technology advancements, historical events, or notable figures in science and technology. I am committed to adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines and will declare my conflict of interest as required by WP. My goal is to contribute positively to the Wikipedia community by providing well-researched and neutral content.
Thank you for considering my request. ParadigmShiftTech (talk) 17:32, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Deb: any objections to an unblock here? --Yamla (talk) 17:38, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No. I think he's sincere. Deb (talk) 17:42, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome again[edit]

Good luck! Deb (talk) 13:06, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

As you violated the agreement that lead to your previous unblock, refusing to declare your conflict of interest (WP:COI) and continuing to edit about coating technologies despite promising not to do so, I have blocked you indefinitely. I'm disappointed. This was blatant and puts to rest any possibility you were acting in good faith. --Yamla (talk) 13:13, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I heartily apologize if this has violated the agreement and has made you feel disappointed. I had no intention of either, but can you help understand - how can I share the knowledge that I have with proper citations to prove about coating technology? I have no intention of promoting Paradigm Shift Technology, but just want to make the readers more knowledgeable about the latest technology. I hope I have clarified my intention and am looking forward to a favorable response from you @Yamla MrAlon60 (talk) 13:35, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We have no interest in you doing so. I will not support unblocking you at this time. --Yamla (talk) 14:16, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
