Thank you for your contribution to this list, but unfortunately it doesn't conform with the list's source. While your edits may reflect more up-to-date figures, as the article says, "This is the list of the top 100 best-selling music artists in the United States only as of December 2008 and based on certifications of albums by the RIAA." To conform to that source, we really can't update the list until the new figures are released in December 2009.

If you want to discuss this or the list, please feel free to leave a note at my talk page or at the article's talk page. Thank you. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:15, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

February 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Circus (Britney Spears album). When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Angels Advocate[edit]

why did you proceed to add the unsourced Angels Advocate EP cover to the article? it is not sourced at all. The facebook page is run by a fan and has no supporting evidence to prove that its official. Please do not re-add to the article again. Lil-unique1 (talk) 22:01, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

September 2011[edit]

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Criminal (Britney Spears song). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Xwomanizerx (talk) 15:48, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 10[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Addicted to You (Shakira song), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Merengue and John Hill (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:59, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
