Edit

[edit]

Hello. I thought I would inform you that you made an unconstructive edit on the List of Hollyoaks characters article. The edit you made (where you removed all of the actors to play a character, apart from the current actor) has been reverted as it appeared disruptive. Please do not make major changes to articles, like what I mentioned above without consensus. Persistent disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines to prevent being blocked from editing. Thanks. User321a (talk) 19:56, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

My info is very reliable i have edited Nancy, tom, sienna, maxine, nico, peri, joel and holly Pdineen03 (talk) 15:31, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

    • Hi see WP:Verifiability as birth dates need to be added with an inline reference to prove it in a reliable source, although the persons facebook or twitter would be ok with a link to the specific post. Many actresses do not like their birhdates being known and keep them secret and some have threatened legal action if they are published so the rules are strict. Regarding Amanda Clapham when there was a birthday listed it was changed to a different date every day so it was removed and I couldn't find it anywhere in a reliable source so she probably wants it kept secret, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 17:37, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If u look up Amanda clapham it says 16 November 1990 Pdineen03 (talk) 18:42, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

List of characters

[edit]

I want to talk to you about the list of characters. It looks nicer when it only has the current characters. If you look at Coronation Streets list of characters it looks nicer because it is all in blue and its more clearer then hollyoaks. People that know me know that I don't give up that easily and I'm going to keep changing it. Pdineen03 (talk) 19:30, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

If people want to see who played them they can just go into the page of the character and see Pdineen03 (talk) 20:24, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 60 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  5 albert square (talk) 05:51, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
As you have chosen to evade your block by editing from an IP address, I have taken the courtesy of extending your block by 1 week. You either learn to abide by Wikipedia's policies or your next block will be indefinite.--5 albert square (talk) 21:18, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to List of Hollyoaks characters (2018). ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 12:12, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I'd add my reasons for removing the storyline section from this article that I mentioned in my edit summary. Due to the majority of her major storylines being covered by the development section, I don't think a storyline is really necessary. But if there is to be one, I'd suggest writing it all out in a userspace draft or an offline draft first. I'd also suggest reading MOS:FICT and WP:SOAPS#Plot summaries, which will help you with future storyline updates that you may be planning on carrying out. - JuneGloom07 Talk 17:10, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Please be more descriptive than "added content". Thanks. 5 albert square (talk) 22:36, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need to be incivil to Rain. This user is only pointing out that you shouldn't make personal attacks on fellow users. Also, you don't have 'private conversations' on Wikipedia. Anything you say to another user is visible to many users, and many users can and will make it their business if you make personal attacks on other users. Either you show some respect for other users, or you will most likely end up being blocked from editing. User321a (talk) 11:49, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Profile for actors

[edit]

Hello Pdineen03,

The diffs presented at ANI show a disturbing pattern of insults and personal attacks on your fellow editors. Consider this a warning. If you continue with this behavior, you will be blocked temporarily, and the blocks will get longer if the behavior persists.

Please read and become thoroughly familiar with Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Writing about fiction, paying special attention to the "Real world perspective". You are also failing to discuss content disputes on article talk pages. For example, there is no discussion whatsoever at Talk:Kim Butterfield. You have only made one edit to an article talk page on the 2-1/2 months that you have been here.

If you want to write extremely detailed character descriptions, then please consider Wikia or another website. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 18:50, 16 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have blocked you for one month for persistently abusively editing while logged out. If during the period of this block or after the block expires you evade this block or edit while logged out, the next block will be indefinite. ArbCom 2018 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Pdineen03. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nancy Hayton, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Sutton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:19, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 6 weeks for continued disruption, disregard for WP:BLP policy. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 19:56, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Just to add to Yamaguchi先生's block message, the onus is on you to provide a source - not the editor who has reverted your edits. You are the one making the original edit therefore you must have a reliable source to back up your claims. I would suggest that you use this time out to read up on why Wikipedia has to verify everything and our policy on the biography of living persons. If you have any queries about them then ask other editors or on a relevant talk page. You have already been blocked a few times for the same issue - by both myself and Bbb23. Your blocks are only going to get longer each time until an administrator decides to block you indefinitely. Wikipedia has policies for a reason.-- 5 albert square (talk) 21:05, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • I blocked you for one month for abusive editing while logged out on September 16, 2018. At the time I warned you that if you evaded the block during the one-month period or if you edited logged out again after the block expired, the next block would be indefinite. I have not checked your account between September 2018 and today. CU results are only available for the previous 90 days, meaning I can see only as far back as about mid-December 2018. During that period, you have edited while logged out at least 21 times. Many of those edits have been reverted because they were unsourced. I think it's reasonable to assume that you edited while logged out from the time I blocked you in September 2018 to the present day. Regardless, for the logged out editing I can see, I have blocked you indefinitely.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:41, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
