The article Jason Ross Jallet has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

The article The Woman of Ahhs has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Request reason:

I believe blocking me was overkill, especially since the last version of text that I posted regarding The Woman of Ahhs was removed within seconds if not a minute or two of its posting, and so it was clearly not read by whomever deleted it. And blocking me because of "spam" is ridiculous. The Woman of Ahhs is the second part of a triptych of films by B. P. Paquette. The first and last parts of this triptych, A Year In the Death of Jack Richards (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Year_in_the_Death_of_Jack_Richards ), and The Anonymous Rudy S. (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Anonymous_Rudy_S. ), respectively, are already entries on Wiki, so why wouldn't the second part also be listed? Furthermore, The Woman of Ahhs is an entry on IMDB (see: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0439882/ ). Please reconsider your decision to block me , and please reconsider what I am trying to post regarding The Woman of Ahhs. The following is what I am trying to post, and I believe it meets all Wiki requirements and is definitely not spam: The Woman of Ahhs is a 2008 dramatic comedy from Canada by filmmaker B. P. Accept reason:

Block has expired on its own, so no action necessary. --Golbez (talk) 05:39, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This talk concerns the feature film The Anonymous Rudy S. and why it should have an independent entry on Wiki instead of its current status as a redirect to the filmmaker's entry (i.e., B._P._Paquette#Filmmaking): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/The_Anonymous_Rudy_S.

This film satisfies the criteria for an independent entry on Wiki, notably that it has not only screened publicly, but it opened the prestigious Cinema Summit program at Cinéfest, one of the largest, longest running, and most important film festivals in Canada (which is also the filmmaker's country of origin): http://www.northernlife.ca/mobile/displaymobilearticle.aspx?id=40212

Furthermore, this film is of other significance as it is the third and concluding chapter in the filmmaker's triptych on "the psychology of romantic love": http://www.thesudburystar.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2770031&archive=true

The filmmaker himself and the first two chapters of his triptych (i.e., A Year in the Death of Jack Richards, and The Woman of Ahhs: A Self-Portrait by Victoria Fleming, respectively), have each merited independent entries on Wiki, so denying the third and concluding chapter an independent entry is a severe oversight that must be corrected a.s.a.p.

Thank you in advance for your time and kind consideration. Peter.tarnopol (talk) 00:01, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited The Woman of Ahhs: A Self-Portrait by Victoria Fleming, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Concordia University (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Nortario Films

[edit]

A good article review found the mention of Nortario films to be considered too much detail for the main City of Sudbury page. I did a google search and found no movies produced by this company, very few google search results in general, and no IMDB references for films. There is also no wikipedia page for Nortario films (though twice it was determined that it was of too little significance and was removed). For these reasons I removed the reference. It can be added once the company indeed produces a film, ideally with a reference such as IMDB. Mattximus (talk) 00:55, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
