Agatha Christie bio photo

Hello RLO1729! I think you're right. But miss Christie has a strange expression on her face. And the most decent photo was removed. Maybe you will be interested in this problem. Look at this site, there are some very nice photos of Christie. And the copyright on some photos belongs to this site, and as far as I understand, there is a possibility of free use of these photos. Great, thanks! Also many thanks for the NPG links, I'll explore the copyright issues. In addition, I've asked Agatha Christie Ltd for their advice on a suitable image for the biography information box that can be used under Creative Commons. Unfortunately, the CC licences associated with the NPG images have an NC (Non-Commercial) attribution that is not compatible with Wikipedia image requirements. RLO1729 (talk) 11:58, 9 November 2019 (UTC)

On their website, they link to a The Christie Archive Trust that provided them with an image with Christie. maybe we should develop this direction. Kt postnom

You are wrongly adding "Kt" to article: this is only for knights bachelor that have higher titles and need differentiation (eg a higher knighthood or lordship), the vast majority will only have the title "sir" and no associated postnom. For example, "Sir Jimbo Wales [no postnom]", "Sir Jimbo Wales, KBE, Kt" or "Jimbo Wales, Baron Wikipeida, Kt". Gaia Octavia Agrippa ^Talk 19:44, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

Yes, Laurence Olivier is a case where Kt should be used; I've commented on the talk page. There is a fully referenced section at Knight Bachelor#Honorifics and post-nominal letters, but see here. MOS:POSTNOM

Hi, as per MOS:POSTNOM: If a baronetcy or peerage is held, then commas should always be used for consistency's sake, as the former are separated from the name by a comma. I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Kelly Curtis. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Thanks for pointed out where you found the date. After reading your reply, I saw the date of birth in Janet Leigh. It is cited to a book listed under "Sources" at the end of that article, but unfortunately I do not have access to that book to verify that the date is in the source. Hi Peter Philim! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of List of awards and nominations received by Cate Blanchett several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Cate Blanchett, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Give people more than 2 hours to respond, people have lives other than Wikipedia. Use edit summaries, when you make edits and when you revert. Assume good faith, don't assume people don't have a reason especially when they've given one in edit summaries. Follow WP:BRD, start a discussion on the talk page of the article when it is reverted instead of just reverting. Non-nested rowspan impairs readability, has WP:ACCESS issues and makes it harder to follow the rows. That whole table needs sourcing, could be removed per WP:Verifiability.
