Thanks for adding the box to MC Yogi. Also thanks for the picture - you are attributed on the picture's page, and per policy I removed the attribution you put into the article. If you need anything then ask. Blue Rasberry (talk) 14:10, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox images[edit]

I don't want to in any way suggest your contribution of photographs is not appreciated, or to discourage you from making further contributions. However, several of the changes you made today, changing infobox photos, were not consistent with Wikipedia practices. Infobox photos are intended as the primary means of visual identification of article subjects, and photographs clearly and prominently depicting a subject's face are generally preferred. While an image like File:John Stamos by Peter Chiapperino.jpg may be an excellent choice for illustrating the section of the Stamos article dealing with his music-related activities, it is not an optimal choice for the infobox photo. If you'd like assistance selecting an appropriate location to place an image, I'd suggest either the article talk page or, more generally, at WP:Help desk. Thanks again for your contributions. No prob Hullaballoo Wolfowitz, Im still learning this stuff. I've moved the photo down in the artilce. Peterchiapperino (talk) 02:10, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

FYI on image captions[edit]

It usually isn't necessary to include attribution in image captions, which you seem to have done here, since a description and attribution exists at the image description page. Have a good day! — SamXS 19:58, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Copy that S! I promise to get better at this!

G.B. Hajim moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for creating G.B. Hajim. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and References provided does not talk about the subject. Lacks significant coverage to establish notability. IMDB is not a reliable source, see WP:IMDB for details and a guide on reliable sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 15:04, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks user:Raydann! Im on it! Was literally citing some awards to establish notability when you edited the page. No worries. Photocyclone (talk) 15:10, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I pulled a couple of the sources out of Internet Archive. I also removed the IMDB link because WP:IMDB and you have another cited source where it is used anyway. Good to see you around and message anytime if I can support. Bluerasberry (talk) 22:22, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

G.B. Hajim moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, G.B. Hajim, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:49, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

user:Onel5969, First thanks for the tireless effort you put into Wikipedia to make it a good home for encyclopedic content.
The article I wrote last weekend about GB Hajim was submitted through the Articles for Creation. The article cites multiple reliable sources, such as the university of Hawaii and Hawaii Tribune Herald. The subject meets WP:GNG due to the fact that the he produced and directed the first known film to be entirely in Hawaiian language.
A few days later it appeared to have moved from draft to start class. I have continued to edit the article on my free time. However I am unsure as to why one would move an article rated from draft, to start class back to draft again.
I want to contribute and would be wondering if you would offer any experience and advice for an amateur Wikipedian that wants to contribute quality content.
Thanks! Photocyclone (talk) 18:16, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You know, you're right. I've moved it back to mainspace. Sorry for the confusion. Keep up the good work. Onel5969 TT me 02:26, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright thanks user:Onel5969, i went ahead and removed the template as well, however, your advice is always welcome. Photocyclone (talk) 15:51, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
