Your username
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Pizzaiolo - The Pizza Maker's Pizza", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 14:03, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
{{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of this page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use.
Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked. To save wasting time asking for a name that's already been taken, go to Special:CentralAuth, type your name in the box, and click on the button. If the name is already in use you will see some details about the account with that name, and if it isn't in use you'll see a red message telling you there is no global account with that name.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}
below.

Request reason:
You wont allow us to use our full business name yet so many other pizza chains on here have they're full company name. I can't understand why this is a difficult process. Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, Pizza Pizza, Dominoes just to name a few of many I saw, they all are registered with they're company name. We would like to do the same thing. Decline reason:
You have confused accounts with articles. This page is your user talk page, for communicating with the person sitting at your computer operating your account. Accounts are for individuals, and are strictly single person use only. You do not need to use your real name, but your username must be individualistic in nature. "JohnDoe of Pizzaiolo" would be acceptable. You also gravely misunderstand other aspects of Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a business directory where mere existence warrants a mention. This is an encyclopedia with criteria for inclusion, called notability, specifically in this case a notable business. Not every business merits an article, it depends on the coverage in independent reliable sources, showing notability. Companies generally do not create and maintain articles here, this is typically done by independent editors wholly unconnected with the topic. If they do have accounts, that must be declared by the operator per the Terms of Use(see WP:PAID) and they should avoid direct edits, but may make edit requests. Please read this page carefully, and the policies linked to therein, before making a new unblock request. 331dot (talk) 20:49, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- The username you requested still violates our username policy. Please refer to the note at the topmost of this page.
- If your company's registered name is different from what is shown on Wikipedia, please provide a secondary and reliable source that supports the claim you just made. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 15:04, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- To help you, I am correcting the formatting of your unblock request. In the way you wrote it, it would not be included in the list of pending unblock requests, so it is likely that no administrator would ever have seen it if I hadn't come back to see whether you had posted any response. I will also give you the following word of advice. In its present form your unblock request has no chance at all of being accepted. Did you read the information in the block message above about what you needed to do to request an unblock? Did you take the advice to read the guide to appealling blocks before making a request? If you didn't do both of those then I advise you to do both now, and then adjust your unblock request, so that you do have a chance of being unblocked. JBW (talk) 19:00, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
You are
[edit]mistaken, I should suppose, mistaking WP:article names with WP:user names. Sorry this is confusing for you. You are blocked because your user name is the name of a company. This is explained in the message at the top of your talk page. Please follow the instructions for changing your user name. Also, you should not create or edit articles about your company as you would have a conflict of interest. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:58, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- Also, since it appears that you represent this company, you should be aware that you have no right of ownership or control over the contents of the article about your company. Wikipedia is a collaborative project - anyone can edit any article at any time, and content is owned by no one. The article is not for you to use as part of your marketing or advertising.
- If you decide to return, then you should learn the procedure to create edit requests when you want changes to any article where you have a conflict of interest. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:43, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
