When you are a major contributor to an article and it is tagged for improvement, please do not remove the templates. Let another editor see if the issue mentioned in the template has been addressed and then let them remove it. Best! VV 11:28, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hey VV, you are correct. I actually first went to your talk page to discuss this but then it was written you are on a break. Ideally, of course, I would not remove it myself. But this is pretty black and white. There is no ambiguity on notability here as per my experience with WP:Academic. The ambiguity that usually happens in this criteria is if the university is well established or not. Christ University is surely well established. I noticed your point on only being press releases used as citations. I am not aware if criteria 6 forbids it. Nonetheless, I have added two more non-PR sources that verifies this. Nomadicghumakkad (talk) 12:27, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You've placed notability tags, as per WP:Academic, Vice Chancelors of major universities in commonwealth countries are notable. Nomadicghumakkad mentioned the same. WP:NACADEMIC#6 states The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution or major academic society. As I just realized my response might come across as being a bit harsh, please know you are free to re-request the right when you have a demonstrable need. The rights that can be requested at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions are only granted to users who have a clear and present need for them because they require experience with policy and editing to be used right. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 04:27, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

New or Experienced?

[edit]

Hi. Hope that you are fine. I observed that you participated at this AfD which was nominated for deletion by me. Although your thoughts were right, it is a matter of surprise that despite joining Wikipedia just 15 days ago, you have known how to vote on an AfD discussion page. In this 15-20 days' time since creation of your account, you have voted on about 50 AfD discussion pages, or nominated for AfD. Besides, it also seems that you know a lot of Wikipedia's terminology, wiki-languages and how WP works, which is difficult for a brand new user. Would you like to declare if you have edited with any other account earlier?  A.A Prinon  Leave a dialogue 11:20, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You're not hidden on the internet

[edit]

I'm not scaring you or anything, but based on your comments you don't seem to know what's happening. Your computer and your Internet connection have an Address, kind of like your phone number. There are "specific administrator" who have permissions to see that info for each user. If an account on a particular Device got blocked, and you create another account on that device/ or that wifi/internet Connection , Wikipedia knows its still you. Not based on your name. But based on Internet statistics. You're not hidden on the internet. And you're just making the case for your unbanning even worse by creating accounts.

The admins have proof that Phoenixman and Your account share a phone/Computer. Or if you're connecting over Wifi, they know that Phoenixman and you shared the same router. You're banned based on Proof. Not based on your name being "Sharat", that's just suspicion to start this Internet investigation.
