Transgender[edit]

Hello, Princessnjoku, I noticed this large edit of yours at Transgender. At 8kb, that's a very large edit to add to an article all at once, all the more so because it's a sensitive topic that draws a lot of controversy, so much so that it is under discretionary sanctions. Even for a very experienced editor, this would be too much all at once. Any editor, especially a new editor, should step very gingerly at this article, making small changes, or talking out their plan first at the article talk page (here: Talk:Transgender). User:Funcrunch reverted about half of your large change in two edits, explaining in their edit summary the reasons for their action. I followed up with five edits, three of which removed the majority of what was left, explaining in the summary of each edit what the objection was, but leaving the one section you added on employment discrimination in the article, although it's not clear if that really belongs there or not.

As I said, you've taken on a difficult and controversial topic, where there are a lot of opinions on all sides of the question. Moving a comma, might get you an argument. Something like what you are attempting, is exceedingly difficult; at the very least, break up an edit of that size, into about twenty to forty smaller edits, with an edit summary on each one, explaining how it improves the article, and see how that goes. Also consider raising a discussion on the Talk page first, explaining what you plan to do, and asking for feedback on your plan. That might bring you a better chance of success at this article.
