Wikipedia says I've been blocked due to an open proxy block covering this range: 173.236.128.0/17. I'm not using an open proxy so it seems likely I was "caught in the net" so to speak.

Hello. You may indeed have been caught in the net, however you should be able to edit if you disable your proxy. This range is blocked to both open proxies and other proxies, such as this one, due to the proportion of abusive edits from all sorts of proxies on the range. It is also blocked at the request of the network owner.[1]. It won't be unblocked, so I've taken the liberty of declining your request. I doubt it, since most of the edits from this range (apart from unblock requests) have been vandalism or otherwise unconstructive. Is there a good reason why you need to edit via a proxy? JamesBWatson (talk) 17:22, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
