April 2023[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Heheya Kingdom, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Also see WP:RS for more information about reliable sources. DreamRimmer (talk) 07:44, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ok sir i hope it's my fault maybe, but can I add only genelogy name in history row and fix the year of end and start which was mentioned in Purans sources i tagged. Coz Haihayas were established by King Haīhayā who was Ancestor of Treta yug warrior Arjun. Raghunath daas (talk) 07:48, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Shishupala[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Chronikhiles. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.

I appreciate that you are trying to improve Hinduism-topic articles on this encyclopedia, but keep in mind that adding sources is important for reliability. Not adding reliable sources often leads to new content being reverted to the previous version. You can find primary sources from real physical books or online at Google books or archive.org. I also encourage you to use standard Sanskrit terms per other Wikipedia Hinduism articles (Like Purana rather than Puran, Vasudeva rather than Vasudev) and avoid honorifics such as lord or shri before the names of deities because it counts as bias. Feel free to reach out if you would like my assistance. Good luck, and keep up the good work. Chronikhiles (talk) 05:42, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ok sir i accepted your assistance, but please revert to last edit by me in few hours I will add sources from Puranas but first revert so I can edit it. Raghunath daas (talk) 08:43, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Haihaya dynasty moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Haihaya dynasty. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because you tried to use inline citations, but didn't format them correctly. Please read over WP:REFBEGIN. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 20:04, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Heheya Kingdom, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mahadev. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:08, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

May 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm JML1148. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kritavirya, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. JML1148 (Talk | Contribs) 09:41, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem icon Your edit to Kritavirya has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Raghunath daas! Your additions to Kritavirya have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 19:22, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ok, thank you for explaining me. I will add the copyright source soon. Raghunath daas (talk) 21:56, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't copy material from elsewhere online[edit]

Hello. I am Diannaa and I am a Wikipedia administrator. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the copyright policy of this website to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. The Wikipedia copyright policy and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policy. There's a simplified version of our copyright rules at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. Further copyright issues will result in you being blocked from editing. — Diannaa (talk) 14:52, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

sir i copied one thing but it's was already reverted by any other admin this time I used my own words also source are mentioned. And how could I written any thing which is not mentioned in puran? But still at previous admin i tried my way in very short and different but can't change the story which are written in puranas Raghunath daas (talk) 01:56, 12 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you can't figure out how to write it in your own words, don't add it. — Diannaa (talk) 14:23, 12 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Diannaa But this time I figure out that in my own word you can check it. Raghunath daas (talk) 15:57, 12 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, is that a question? What do you want me to check? — Diannaa (talk) 18:46, 12 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Diannaa Sir my recent edit on Kritvirya about Padmini Ekdashi Raghunath daas (talk) 02:22, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have no way of checking the current version, as the sources you cite are in a foreign language. — Diannaa (talk) 13:55, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Just reverting someone's good edit doesn't mean I'm that person sockpuppet or anything. where did I abuse?

Decline reason:

That's asking a question, not stating a case for unblock. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:30, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
