May 2015

[edit]

Hello, I'm Happysailor. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Talk:Venkat International Public School with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Happysailor (Talk) 07:38, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A few comments about your editing

[edit]
  1. Much of your editing consists of adding extra white space to the source of pages. In almost all cases, the extra space does not show up at all in the page as seen by the reader, so at best the edits are pointless. Worse than that, such edits which make no visible difference to the page can actually do harm, as it makes it more difficult for editors to see what changes to an article have been made, and if an editor has reason to check the history of an article, searching through empty edits can be a waste of time.
  2. If you didn't realise that many of your edits made no difference to the appearance of the page, then you should take to always clicking the "preview" button before saving an edit, to see what difference it makes. If you don't do that, then sooner or later you will make a mistake which really messes a page up. (If, on the other hand, you knew that many of your edits would make no difference, then perhaps you can explain why you made those edits.)
  3. Have you previously edited from any other account or accounts? If so, can you please say what account(s)? The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 19:05, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

OK i understand the process but the reason i was editing those pages are most of the pages shows blank space and most not. No i don't have any other account. Sorry i am new on Wikipedia, that's why i am learning Wikipedia. Thanks next time i will take utmost care. —  Preceding unsigned comment added by Raginidutta (talkcontribs) 03:32, 31 May 2015‎

  1. I have no idea what "i was editing those pages are most of the pages shows blank space and most not." is supposed to mean.
  2. You say you have no other account. In that case, can you explain what you meant by posting a message on my talk page saying "Thanks for helping me to understand Wikipedia", considering that at that time I had never had any contact with this account? The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:26, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Recent edits from this account have confirmed what I had strongly suspected all along, namely that you have had other accounts blocked, and are using this account to evade the block. You have been given instructions on how to request an unblock, and just ignoring the block and using another account is not the way to do it. This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Any editing which you make while evading your block is likely to be reverted. If you believe that you can now edit without making the mistakes which led to the original block, then you may request an unblock of your original account. To do that, add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of the talk page of your original account, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Also, bear in mind that if the administrator reviewing your unblock request will be unlikely to unblock if he or she thins that you are not being entirely honest about your use of multiple accounts. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

This is my only account Raginidutta (talk) 03:00, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I find that highly unlikely, based on your editing. Yunshui  08:28, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
