Hi Rand53, Your contributions to Wikipedia are much appreciated. However, there are a couple of rules to follow:

  • Please do not add unreferenced (unsourced) information to the pages about people, otherwise your edits will be deletd.
  • Please complete an edit summary for each edit you make, otherwise it may be deleted as vandalism by a Rollbacker.

Thanks for helping out on the Hardwicke page. Wikipedia can be kind of complicated and I can see that you're still a bit unsure about all the various tools and shortcuts we can use here. Buffalo Architecture

I am going to start up a new page on Buffalo architecture. There are many buildings in Buffalo, NY, that are already listed on Wikipedia, so this would bring them altogether with links to their own pages. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

{{{helpme}}} I am trying to find a way to make sure that the photo file Harold Bradley is okay. The photo was taken by a friend of mine who releases the copyright, so it shouldn't be a problem. Problem with your custom signature

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
