Lagrangian point[edit]

Material from Lagrangian point

Spacecraft at Sun–Earth L1[edit]

International Sun Earth Explorer 3 (ISEE3) (decommissioned?). Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) was stationed in a Halo orbit at L1, and the Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) in a Lissajous orbit, also at the L1 point. WIND is also at L1.

I had to undo your edit at the above article because somehow a lot of material had accidentally been removed (diff). Above is what I think you added so you may want to add that again. Happy editing! Johnuniq (talk) 23:46, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

June 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Reify-tech. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of eponymous laws, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Visual Inspection Poseable Invertebrate Robot, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://ssco.gsfc.nasa.gov/rrm_phase2vipir.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Refs[edit]

Hi, thanks for updating one of our USN ship pages with information and a reference. I wanted to ask if you wouldn't mind filling in the ref per WP:CITE, as I've done here. There is also some minor copy editing there, but please note the ref, it doesn't take much to complete, and saves others from having to do extra work. Thanks again - wolf 17:12, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on AngoSat 2 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from space.com/russia-proton-rocket-angosat-2-launch and africanews.space/angola-launches-its-second-satellite-angosat-2-today. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
