Welcome![edit]

Hello, Redboulder, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Bronwen Murray, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page or you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Pichpich (talk) 20:43, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Bronwen Murray has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a notable actress per WP:NACTOR or for that matter WP:GNG. The article is basically unsourced as it relies on an IMDb link and a broken Rotten Tomatoes link.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Redboulder. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Outer Range (TV series), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 00:33, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

How do I certify that I do not have a conflict of interest as alleged?Redboulder (talk) 19:06, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No need to. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 20:07, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Brian Watkins requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Toddst1 (talk) 00:33, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why was this deleted? The person is notable according to Wikipedia guidelines and I cited multiple, reliable sources:

If you'd like to clarify why an article was deleted, typically you'd need to contact the admin who deleted it (in this case Bbb23) rather than using something like {{Help}}. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 20:07, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

February 2022[edit]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to List of American film actresses. WP:DOB is a particularly important area of WP:BLP . Toddst1 (talk) 00:39, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Toddst1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bronwen Murray, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please see WP:IMDBREF. Toddst1 (talk) 00:40, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Bronwen Murray, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not use IMDb as a source. It is unreliable. See WP:IMDBREF. Toddst1 (talk) 00:58, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The citation was to a different url? From the comments on your Talk page Toddst1 it seems you bully a lot of people here. Stop bullying me.Redboulder (talk) 18:54, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see much on his talk page that could be seen that way – mainly just other users mad at him for enforcing Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please assume good faith and avoid quickly accusing people of bullying you. If you're looking for more civil ways to resolve something like this, let me know and I'd be happy to share more info. Why was this page deleted? This is an elected official and citations were provided. Redboulder (talk) 18:51, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The deletion message above shows that it was deleted for not having any credible claim of significance that showed the subject was notable. CCing Bbb23 to see if he can provide any more info as he nominated the article for deletion. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 19:00, 23 February 2022 (UTC); edited 19:03, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

MorningStar Angeline moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, MorningStar Angeline, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
