If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, one may be blocked from editing without further notice. --CarTick (talk) 03:21, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would request you not to continue with reverts on the article and first sort out the topic on the talk page. Aggressive pushing of your point would be useless and would only get you blocked.--UplinkAnsh (talk) 09:08, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Indigenous Indian Aryans

[edit]

a study conducted by the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2009 (in collaboration with Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health and the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT) analyzed half a million genetic markers across the genomes of 132 individuals from 25 ethnic groups from 13 states in India across multiple caste groups.[1] The study asserts, based on not identifying any genetic indicators across caste lines, that castes in South Asia grew out of traditional tribal organizations during the formation of Indian society, and was not the product of any Aryan invasion and "subjugation" of Dravidian people.[2]

Seeing that you are quite interested in this topic I would like to inform you that I recently saw a documentary on an infotainment channel. It was titled "Lost cities of Ice Age" which documented similar findings. Hope you find it so might help you find more sources to be added to proper articles.--UplinkAnsh (talk) 20:34, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
