McCormack Brothers

[edit]

Hi, You might be interested to know that I added a photo of the mausoleum to the McCormack Brothers to the article about Loughmore, since you went to the bother of transcribing the incsriptions. Rigger30 (talk) 13:48, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kathy Chitty

[edit]

There was some discussion about keeping the article on Kathy Chitty, Paul Simon's English girlfriend from 1964/5. I wanted to keep it but the overall view was to merge it with the Paul Simon article. Now it has been merged, I've deleted the discussion. Go here User:Rickedmo/Rickedmo Kathy Chitty for my reference copy of this article. Rickedmo (talk) 21:16, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Preston Hall Aylesford front elevation.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Preston Hall Aylesford front elevation.jpg, which you've attributed to Ronald H. Edmondson. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

Removed photo from Lewisham rail crash (1857)

[edit]

Just to let you know that I removed the photo you added from the article Lewisham rail crash (1857). It's a pity because it's a great photo, but it appears that it's not actually from that crash. I gave more information on the picture's talk page. Quietbritishjim (talk) 23:22, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Grissell and Peto, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Strand (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
