Take it to the articles talk page please. - Samf4u (talk) 01:02, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have some suggestions for this page, but I don't know how or where to suggest them: Peter Paul Strzok II[1] (/strʌk/, pronounced struck;[2][3] born March 7, 1970)[4]:

Footnote 1 is a reference to a home sale in the Washington Post. Presumably, that Peter Strzok is the same as this Peter Strzok, but I don't think that that cite is particularly good support for that this Peter Strzok is Peter Paul Strzok II. Footnote 4 is terrible support for what Peter Strzok's birthdate is. It seems to refer to his age at the time, but not at all to his birthday.

I can understand your hesitancy to get involved in this hot article, but the procedure that applies whenever you are not feeling bold enough to change the article itself is to raise the issue on the article's talk page: Talk:Peter Strzok.
But I encourage you to more pointedly raise your concerns in the article itself. The tag that you would add to an article where you found that the reference cited does not support the claim made is {{failed verification}} to which you can add parameters date=, talk=, and reason=. There is also a template called {{better source needed}} that also takes parameters date= and reason= – this template can be used when you think the current source is not sufficient, such as your point that there's not enough reason to exclude the possibility of a real-world name collision that would bring the relevance of the source into question. If you had better references, of course, it would be better to replace the worse references with the better ones. But pointing out problems with a reference is one step towards getting the matter fixed, even if you can't complete that process yourself. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:32, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
