Hi. I see you have been moving and changing Muzharul Islam and various alternative spellings. Unfortunately, your method of moving is incorrect - we must not do copy/paste moves, as that loses the article history which Wikipedia's copyright requires us to keep. Also, you seem to be making circular redirects that direct back to themselves. Would you please stop what you're doing and explain here what you are trying to achieve - I'll be happy to help you with whatever it is. I've done some comparative Google searches. "Mazharul Islam" finds 26,000 hits, but "Muzharul Islam" only finds 7,160. As there is no formally correct way to transliterate names from Bengali, I think we are probably better sticking with the one most commonly used - it generally seems to be what people do around here. However, let me know if you disagree, and I can start a "Request move" discussion on the article's Talk page to see what the consensus says. MIT sources are not in the public domain, they are copyrighted like nearly everything else on the web. Do not copy sentences from anywhere. Also, do not remove maintenance tags. Primary sources are sources affiliated with the subject. A profile page at MIT is most likely written by the subject himself. Some tips to help you out!

Hi Rossi101, I thought I'd drop a few notes on your talk page with some help on writing articles :o)

First of all, it may be best for you to do a bit of reading, starting with the Wikipedia manual of style, which will give you a lot of information about how Wikipedia prefers its articles to be written. It's not as hard to follow as it might look; quite a bit of the information there probably won't be vital for you at first.

Second, I recommend you make a user sandbox - which is just an area you can use to practise in, and to make notes in, and to get things ready in. If you click this red link: user:Rossi101/Sandbox, that will let you create that page (it gives you an edit window to start work in). Anything, anywhere, on the help and information pages which gives you an example, try it out in your sandbox until you're familiar with it.

For your article, the next thing you want to do is start collecting as much information as you can about it. Google searches (particularly in Books and Scholar) will be your best friend for this! Once you've found the information, the next most important thing is to start writing up each fact in your own words (very important, this), and make a note at the same time of exactly where that information came from. Build in the references as you go along; I'm going to copy in, down below this, a whole heap of help on doing references, which was produced by one of our best teachers (Chzz).

Here's another place that you'll find incredibly useful - citation templates which you can copy and paste into your sandbox, between <ref></ref> tags; you just fill in the blanks from your sources into the template, and you'll end up with nicely formatted inline citations :o) It all helps. Remember to add a references section to your sandbox (make a new line, and put ==References== on it, and type {{reflist}} on the next line, so that you can see how your citations look as you do them. Remember to save your page often! You don't want to lose your work.

Hopefully this will give you a good start and make life easier for you.

Something to make your life easier!

Hi there Rossi101! I've just come across one of your articles, and noticed that you had to create titles for your url links manually, or were using bare urls as references.

You might want to consider using this tool - it makes your life a whole heap easier, by filling in complete citation templates for your links. All you do is install the script on Special:MyPage/common.js, or or Special:MyPage/vector.js, then paste the bare url (without [...] brackets) between your <ref></ref> tabs, and you'll find a clickable link called Reflinks in your toolbox section of the page (probably in the left hand column). Then click that tool. It does all the rest of the work (provided that you remember to save the page! It doesn't work for everything (particularly often not for pdf documents), but for pretty much anything ending in "htm" or "html" (and with a title) it will do really, really well. Happy editing! Unexplained reversion

Please do not revert edits without giving an explanation or edit summary. This edit was given a clear rationale. Many of the photos count as spam as they feature particular restaurants and hotels in the town. Many shots do not help to illustrate the article and do not meet the guidelines on pertinent images. Images should be right aligned by default. The sister cities list is unsourced. If you take issue with a set of edits, you should discuss these on the article talk page, not make a wholesale reversion without explanation. I have copied these comments to the talk page. Your attempts to circumvent AfD

As you know, Saiman Miah was raised by you at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Saiman Miah in October 2014 and the consensus was to 'keep' the article. It is bizarre and very disingenuous of you to try and delete the article (and its sources) outside of the AfD process (it is even more bizarre considering you created the article in the first place). The correct way to delete an article is to raise it at AfD and then abide by the consensus of the participants.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. List of British universities by Nobel laureates, likely to be deleted

You should look at the very strongly referenced article List of Nobel laureates by university affiliation and the second page List of Nobel laureates by university affiliation II, which are both exemplary articles, presenting the information neutrally and with strong explanation of how data is presented fairly, I'm not sure where your 'overlap' data comes from for example here. As all of the universities here are listed in those pages it seems that this article is unreferenced and defunct (and duplicative), so I will be tagging it for deletion unless some significant work is done on it very soon, it doesn't even have a lead sentence at present. Proposed deletion of Robert Boughey

The article Robert Boughey has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:SIGCOV. Cant find anything on him. Been on the cat:nn list since 2011 and never been updated. A WP:BEFORE shows the briefest mentions of previous positions. Fails WP:NPROF.

I keep delaying deleting this draft because it seems like useful information that could be used in the main space of the project. Could you consider updating it or think about how it could be incorporated in another article?
