Thanks for the recent adds. Yes I think Peter Parker (Marvel Cinematic Universe) would be an notable entry. Same with Garfield’s version. Perhaps you talked to User:BD2412 about the Marvel Cinematic Universe version because we have to be careful in proving notability with those kind of articles and he is responsible for making most of them. Jhenderson 777 19:46, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Note - I have started a very early and tentative draft at User:BD2412/sandbox/Peter Parker (Marvel Cinematic Universe), which I have no plan for developing until we see how (or if) the character is developed in Avengers: Endgame, and until after Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out. However, feel free to work on that draft, as it will likely serve as the basis for any article that comes out for this topic. bd2412 T 20:02, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thst is fine. Also thanks for directing us to the sandbox User:BD2412. I will see what I can do for it. Jhenderson 777 16:47, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Project Tagging - Your help is needed

Thanks to Earwig and his bot some articles had our project banner placed on their pages - this will let us monitor and support these articles better. However, the tagging received some complaints about too many incorrectly place tags (see here). Some help in going through the categories to be used by the bot would be appreciated. That list of categories can be found at: User:The Earwig/Sandbox/Children's Lit

Article Alerts

A great way to stay on top of articles which need particular attention is through the project's article alerts page. You can find out about new Good Article Nominees, Articles for Deletion, and more. If you watch the page you can even see the new additions each night right frmo your watchlist.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of M.A.S.K. toys & characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cook (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Jane Doe

I'm not sure why you deleted the section on Jane Doe from List of minor DC Comics characters, as it was properly sourced, and you left no comment indicating why. I restored the material. Article Assessment

With the completion of our project banner project, we have a large backlog of unassessed articles. Doing article rating is a great way to find interesting articles with-in our project's scope and to also find articles that were incorrectly tagged. This project will hopefully let us better monitor and aid in the development the many articles that this project supports. Thanks to Legoktm for all his work in making this happen.

Deleted redirects

[edit]

Hi there, first of all I want to say thank you for maintaining content from redirected character articles. As you already know, many of the characters previously merged into the Marvel character lists have been deleted from those lists, and many of those redirects have been deleted so we no longer have access to the previous content in the edit history. I plan to eventually find the time to restore these so that they can be merged wherever it makes sense to merge them, but that could wind up being a long time from now. If you have any deleted redirects that you want me to restore for you, as an administrator I can restore the content and you can merge/redirect it to wherever you feel it makes sense. Just let me know any time, OK? BOZ (talk) 13:55, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I understand where you're coming from, but I was referring more to articles like (for just an example) Destroyer (Charles Stanton), where all of the content has been fully deleted. If you have any specific examples that you want me to undelete so that you can merge them somewhere, let me know which articles you need undeleted. BOZ (talk) 14:44, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Awards in Red

MrLinkinPark333 recently pointed out that on some of our Top importance pages about Children's literature awards there are many redlinks. The three pages with these redlinks are Caldecott Medal, Newbery Medal, and Carnegie Medal (with 0 existing redlinks in the other top importance award article - Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award). As of this newsletter there are 222 redlinks in those three articles. How many can we as a project create over the next 6 weeks? Could we even do better and see if we could create any that earn a Did You Know or even get it up to Good Article status?

As always feel free to head on over to the project discussion page if you find yourself in need of any help as we work to turn these notable entries on some of our most important articles blue.

Merry Christmas!

[edit]

I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas, because that is what I celebrate. If you don't like Christmas or just don't celebrate it in any of its forms, then please accept a generic "Happy Holidays". If you celebrate no holidays at this time of year, then hopefully you will be satisfied with an even more generic "Season's Greetings".  :) BOZ (talk) 21:50, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Holidays!

[edit]

Have a great rest of your holiday season! If you do not, then you should know that I have acquired a very particular set of skills on my time on Wikipedia. Skills that make me a nightmare for people who do not enjoy themselves. If you do not have a great time this year, I will find you... And I will block you.

But seriously, happy holidays. DarkKnight2149 21:59, 25 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
