Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Ruksana Shaukat. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Design for Good, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Edwardx (talk) 10:44, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Edward,
Thanks for your message and your review, I really appreciate it.
Just want to clarify I don’t work for Design for Good, and I am not affiliated with it. E.g. I have no partaken in any of their events activities, I am not employed by Design for Good and I have not referenced myself etc. and I am not receiving or expect to receive, compensation for this article.
Best,

@Ruksana Shaukat Your page has been moved back from article space to draft space. The subject lacks ORGDEPTH. The references you have provided are either Trivial mentions of the subject or not Reliable sources. This draft also reads as if it was written by a paid editor. This does not mean that it was written by a paid editor, and it does not mean that it was not written by a paid editor. If the author of the draft is not being paid, they should write less promotionally. Sources must also have independent significant coverage of the company itself and not merely a product of the company. See detailed source analysis below. Additionally, a WP:BEFORE search yielded no independent secondary sources. Not seeing a viable article based on what has currently been published. Possibly a case of WP:TOOSOON. Hi @Jamiebuba
This is super helpful, and makes more sense. Thanks for this clarity! Ruksana Shaukat (talk) 12:52, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Glad I could be of help. Jamiebuba (talk) 15:20, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
