In response to email request As far as I can tell, you aren't blocked ([1]) and there are no active autoblocks in place on this account. Are you still having problems editing? EyeSerenetalk 17:25, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the additional information - I didn't know which IP you are on. I had indeed hardblocked that IP, as there was no indication that it might be shared. I've now reset the block so that registered users can edit as normal. Hopefully that should solve your problem, and please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. Proposed deletion of Talk:Amato's

[edit]

I moved the proposed deletion tag you placed on Talk:Amato's to Amato's, as deletion tags belong on top of the article, not its talk page. This was done for technical reasons only; it should not be interpreted as my endorsement for deletion. —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:26, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WP:FOOD Needs You!

[edit]

Hi there SBHans13! I've noticed you have yourself listed as a member of the Food and Drink Wikiproject. Unfortunately it looks like the project has been slowly sliding into inactivity except for a couple of people. That makes me a sad potato, and nobody likes a sad potato amirite?

If you'd like to turn my frown upside down, can you do two small things?

First off, go here and add {{Tick}} (checkY) next to your name if you're still part of the project.

Second, go to the project talkpage and participate in a discussion about how to make the project more active, and how to go about making articles in our area of interest a lot better.

You don't want to make me cry, do you? Potatoes have a lot of eyes you know. So come on, join in! :)

Wikiproject Food and Drink Newsletter - October 2013

[edit]
[edit]

I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. If everyone in the disambiguation link fixers category were to fix 500 links, we would have them all done - so aim high! Cheers! bd2412 T 02:31, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
