How do I delete my previous submissions for an article? SMHud (talk) 15:36, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It seems like you've submitted two articles through the Draft: namespace that have been declined. There's no need to further do anything with them, and eventually they will be deleted. If you'd like to do it yourself, use the {{Db-g13}} template (see the template's page for usage). Rejected drafts qualify for speedy deletion criterion G13 after six months of no editing. —Hexafluoride Ping me if you need help, or post on my talk 16:06, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
G13 deletion does not happen until the draft has been abandoned for six months. If you would like to get rid of Draft:S. Michael Hudson now, since you are effectively the page's only author you can put {{db-author}} at the top.
If you have not already been pointed to it, please read Wikipedia:Autobiography. JohnCD (talk) 16:12, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@JohnCD: Does G7 apply to any article in any namespace? I mean if someone submits a good article but is the sole contributor, they're allowed to request deletion? Doesn't WP:OWN apply here? Shouldn't the draft be allowed to run out its six months grace period in case someone decides to rescue them? —Hexafluoride Ping me if you need help, or post on my talk 21:36, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Hexafluoride: yes, all the "G" (for "General") speedy criteria apply in any namespace. Since "you irrevocably agree to release your contribution" we could refuse to delete, but inpractice, unless there are special circumstances, {{db-author}} is normally accepted.
