To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your userpage.

Someone marked the page for deletion when it was only 3 minutes old; this was not a correct thing to do. As reviewing administrator, I of course removed that tag and will explain to the person who placed it.

What you need to do, is simply to write the article. But remember that a Wikipedia article needs to show notability with references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. It also needs to be written like an encyclopedia article, not a press release--and do not copy from a web site, even your own -- first it's a copyright violation, but, even if you own the copyright and are willing to give us permission according to WP:DCM, the tone will not be encyclopedic and the material will not be suitable.

However, please consider first if this is a suitable topic, and whether the material you are planning to add would not go better in some of the existing articles, either one of the general articles on the subject, or articles about particular methods. We usually would not have an article with a title such as you have used--it does not indicate anything specific. If you decide that the article should not be written as a separate article under this title, you can facilitate matters by placing at the top a line reading : {{db-author}}, and it will be quickly deleted.

If I can help you further, let me know on my user talk page. DGG ( talk ) 17:43, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Although three minutes was certainly too soon to tag this page for deletion, it has now been in for nearly two days and still has essentially no content. I have deleted it under speedy deletion criterion WP:CSD#A3, which is there because often people put in incomplete articles and never develop them, and we do not like readers of the encyclopedia to come upon empty articles. I would have "userfied" it - moved it into your user space where you can work on it - but I see that you already have a copy of it at User:Sagarsss/Innovation In Software Testing. Please do not move it into the encyclopedia again until you have provided some real content for it. I have put a template at the top of it which gives two useful links; there is more good advice at WP:Your first article and WP:Writing better articles. Also, please read Wikipedia:Copy-paste and remember that you must write in your own words and not copy material into Wiipedia. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 13:19, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

COPYVIO[edit]

Your entire content in the sandbox was a copyvio. I request you not to copy the content as it is from the web. You have to write it in your own words by actually "typing". If you continue to do this in the future, you may loose all your marks. Beware! Pratik Lahoti (talk) 08:12, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your sandbox review[edit]

Hey buddy I went through your sandbox. Good that you haven't made any copyvios this time :) Infact, you have done a great job!!! Just some points to be taken care of -

  • "What does Innovation means" - change the heading. Doesn't look good :P
  • Avoid using "we", "you", etc.
  • Cite the references properly. See Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for more.
  • Get your content verified from Sir and then get back to me. :)
