This is your Talk page where you can receive messages from other Wikipedians and discuss things with them. At the end of your messages you should always enter your signature by signing with four ~~~~ or by pressing the button in the editor shown here in the picture. By the way, it is not necessary to sign edits that you make in the articles themselves as those messages will be deleted. My name is DBigXray. If you have any questions or face any initial hurdles, post {{helpme|your question}} on your talk page (this page), someone will quickly come up and attend to your query. And also, feel free to contact me on my talk page and I will do what I can to assist. Good Luck Editing!

Bharat Ratna and non-free files[edit]

Hello. You added a non-free file (File:K. Kamaraj.jpg) to this article [1]. I've reverted [2] the placement of this image due to its violating WP:NFLISTS. We do not normally accept the use of non-free images in lists as you are attempting here. Please do not place any more non-free images in lists. If you have questions please, ask. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 21:10, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Despite the notice I placed above, you decided to place the same non-free image back onto the article with this diff. Why? You've been reverted by someone else in just a matter of minutes. You are most welcome to contribute here, but operating in a manner not in line with our policies and guidelines when you've been made aware of such that are directly relevant to your edits is very poor behavior. If it continues, I imagine you will be blocked from editing here. Please, work with us not against us. If you have questions, ask. Continuing to plow ahead while willfully ignoring our policies and guidelines is not the way forward. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 21:26, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with File:Mettur view.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Mettur view.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:21, 27 July 2022 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 12:21, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
