User page[edit]

Sorry, but your user page does not conform to Wikipedia's user page guidelines. It is intended for basic information about yourself or your Wikimedia-related activities. Although a lot of freedom is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not a personal website, blog, or social networking site, nor should it be used to promote yourself, or host a fake article, CV/resumé or lengthy autobiography. Thanks. --Drm310 (talk) 17:59, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

we want to create a wikipedia page as it is for artist please help us. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sara gurpal (talkcontribs)

There's a few things that you should know first:
  1. Wikipedia userpages are not encyclopedia articles. As I explained above, their purpose is for you to introduce yourself, the user, to the Wikipedia community.
  2. Articles about musicians must meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for musicians to be considered worthy of inclusion.
  3. An article about a living person must also conform to Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living persons.
  4. A Facebook page is not considered a reliable source. Social media sites, blogs or any other website where the content is generated by the user is referred to as a self-published source. We require sources that are independent of the subject.
  5. When you said "we want to create a wikipedia page", who are you referring to? Are you Sara Gurpal herself, or are you another person or persons who represents her?
--Drm310 (talk) 18:17, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I represent her.. Please let me know what informations do you excectly need so i can provide you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sara gurpal (talkcontribs)

Before anything happens, you should request a change of username. It is against Wikipedia's username policy to use the name of a specific, identifiable person that is not your own.
You should also review Wikipedia's plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Users are discouraged from editing about topics with which they have a personal or professional connection.
After that, you should try using Wikipedia's Articles for creation process. This is where you can create a draft article that will be reviewed by other editors before being posted. If the draft requires improvement, it will not be posted and you will be notified of the issues that need to be addressed. Please note that there may be a delay between submitting an article for review and receiving feedback.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sara Gurpal, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://aapnapollywood.com/sara-gurpal-to-debut-in-bollywood-with-movie-drama-queen/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sara Gurpal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
