Request reason:

My account has been alleged for using multiple accounts and has been blocked indefinitely since 07-06-2017. I have never used such accounts to edit any articles on the Wikipedia nor did I own any account from those accounts and which are being listed in the suspected sockpuppets. let me make myself clear I have only one account on Wikipedia that is why I am still requesting you to unblock me that too from very long time I accept I have created a page “WCarPS” If anybody has edited it or deleted a tag on it how can I be proven guilty for the things I haven’t done. I hope that I can be of assistance in correcting my mistake and resolving the matter. While I have caused this unpleasant experience and I assure the Team it won't happen again. Sincerely, Sauood07 9:22, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

Unblock discussion and possibly conditions for unblock

[edit]

Hello. It looks like you've waited the 6 months, so we can consider an unblock. But first, some questions and discussion.

  • Please review Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sauood07 Had you and have you used any other accounts not listed there.
  • Have you edited from a different account or not logged in since the time of your block.
  • WCarPS seems a departure from your usual editing pattern. How did this come to be? There was an editing hiatus on this account, during which you used another account to create WCarPS. How did this come to be?
  • Hate to say it, but there was a question of WP:PAID during the SPI. Have you edited in return for any compensation or any other consideration, monetary or in kind, or in a "voluntary" capacity?
  • That's all I can think of for now. Any other admin might add to this. It's a start. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 15:04, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sauood Yaqoob 15:16, 9 February 2018 (UTC) Dlohcierekim Sir the accounts which are mentioned in this case are of different individual i only know one of those accounts that is Gouravnama from those accounts other i am not aware of WCarPS was page which was created which got us in trouble No compensation or any other consideration, monetary or in kind was done it was voluntary action i hope you will get me unblocked soon.

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Read our guide to improving articles
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • If you have trouble choosing an article to improve, see this index of articles needing improvement for ideas. Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:
    1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
    2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
      • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...);
      • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: );
      • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: );
      • do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
    3. Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
    4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
    5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose: reflist-talk. Once you have added the template, click Save.
  • Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Anantnag, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages ITI and Delhi Public School (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Langate, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://encyclopine.org/en/Handwara.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tral Killing requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello, Sauood07. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Killing of Khalid Muzaffar Wani, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this:
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TheLongTone (talk) 15:01, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:32, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016

[edit]

Thanks for partipating Wikipedia Asian Month last year, and I hope you enjoy it. Last year, more than 7,000 articles contribute to Wikipedia in 43 languages in Wikipedia Asian Month, making us one of the largest event on Wikipedia. We will organize this event again in upcoming November, and would like to invite you join us again.

This year, we are lowering down the standards that you only need to create 4 (Four) articles to receive a postcard (new design), and articles only need to be more than 3,000 bytes and 300 words. We are also improving our postcard sending process, e.g. making the postcards right now, and collecting the address after the event ends without waiting other languges.

Wikipedians who create the most articles on each Wikipedia will be honored as "Wikipedia Asian Ambassadors". We will send you both digital copy, and a paper copy of the Ambassador certificate.

Thank you for considering! --AddisWang (talk)

New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Sauood07,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Syed Altaf Bukhari

"is currently the MLA of this area" - which area? This article needs a lot more information, with sources. Cabayi (talk) 11:36, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • currently - from when? until when?
  • MLA - a member of which legislative assembly?
and you've still not provided any reliable sources. Cabayi (talk) 12:11, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Syed Altaf Bukhari has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Supporting Indian Wikipedia Program resource distribution

[edit]

In 2017 - 2018, the Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Wikimedia India chapter (WMIN) and user groups will pilot a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program (Code name: Project Tiger) will:

(a) Support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and
(b) Sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.

The objective of the program is to provide laptops and internet stipends for existing editors who need support to contribute more actively. 50 basic model Acer Chromebooks and Internet stipends for 100 contributors are available for distribution. Provided resources are the sole property of the beneficiaries and should be used for the betterment of the movement.

If you're an active Wikimedian, and interested to receive support from this project, please apply. It will take around 10 minutes of your time, and will ask descriptive questions about your contribution to Indic Wikimedia projects.

Request reason:

I owe the team of Wikipedia a sincere apology for abusively using multiple accounts. It was never my intention to create such an awkward and uncomfortable situation. I hope that I can be of assistance in correcting my mistake and resolving the matter. While I have caused this unpleasant experience, I was blocked when I told other users to try to help me out of the situation when my page that I created with the name of WCarPS got deletion tag. I believe acquiring this insight will allow me to learn and grow and prevent similar issues in the future. Please feel free to let me of your thoughts and concerns over this matter.I want a second chance so that I may help better as I have been editing so long on Wikipedia and next time it won't happen again. Sincerely, Sauood07

Decline reason:

Checkuser needed Can we get a CU to see if there is recent socking or if there are any other objections to an unblock? TonyBallioni (talk) 04:17, 16 February 2018 (UTC) Sauood YaqoobTonyBallioni (talk) Sir, I have been waiting from the last year since i am blocked for editing anything on Wikipedia for this mistake even after so much time i am not unblocked please its a request unblock me soon.[reply]

Bbb23, I just saw you on my watchlist and it reminded me of this. Since you were the original blocking admin, would you mind killing two birds with one stone and running the check as well as giving any thoughts on the unblock? TonyBallioni (talk) 23:27, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sauood Yaqoob Bbb23 Sir, I respect your concern for any matter related to the Sockpuppet but sir, I just want to know why I am not getting even fist chance after I have done stupid act by a violation of T&C of Wikipedia check my record i was never blocked for any act please review my unblock request.

@TonyBallioni: I oppose the unblock. At the SPI, I found that three socks were likely to each other, two of which were Sauood07 and Gouravnama (talk · contribs · count). Sauood07 admits that Gouravnama is their account but denies any other socks. I also found that two other accounts were confirmed to each other but unlikely to the Sauood07 group. One of those accounts was Mcssanceo (talk · contribs · count). On the same day, December 2, 2017, both Gouravnama and Mcssanceo submitted unblock requests, which were denied. Based on the edits by the two accounts on December 2, I can now say that they are  Technically indistinguishable from each other and very  Likely to Saudoo07. The credit for this discovery goes to Berean Hunter.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:02, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

TonyBallioni Bbb23
I have mentioned it earlier that I only know Gouravnama (talk · contribs · count) as we helped each other to create that article on which we got blocked as we were unaware of how pages were reviewed on Wikipedia so, this is how it began for us but after the block we got to know we have violated the Wikipedia conditions. Sir, it has been six to seven months now from that date I have been continuously requesting you to unblock me but nobody out here is paying any attention to my request it will be your most kindness if you guys here unblock me now. Once again I am so sorry for any inconvenience caused to anybody of you here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sauood07 (talkcontribs) 10:12, February 17, 2018 (UTC)
No admin is allowed to unblock you without the consent of a CheckUser. Given that the blocking CU declined to unblock, and it appears multiple CUs are involved at this point, if you still think your block should be lifted your only option appears to be an appeal to the arbitration committee. You may do this by emailing them at arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org. TonyBallioni (talk) 14:32, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Forah

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Forah. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Furrah. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Furrah. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Iflaq (talk) 17:58, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
