Help with Translation!?
Can you help translate this for me to swedish? Many thanks in advance!
The first railroad line in Albania was built in 1948 linking Tiranë with Durrës on the coast and Elbasan in the interior. The main ports are Durrës, Vlorë, Shëngjin, and Sarandë.
Albania has a somewhat limited telephone network. There is a fairly extensive broadcasting service, however, and television programming began in 1971. Newspaper circulation is quite limited. There is a state university at Tiranë.

Finnish Navy
Please check out Talk:Finnish_Navy what I commented about your addition of the Turunmaa class. Oh and nice job on the Turunmaa article. Nice to see someone else adding vessels too. I kind of got bored with it when no one else was contributing. --Laisak 21:27, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

Finland-Swedish
An anonymous editor (obviously pushing an agenda against the Swedish language in Finland; see contribs at Special:Contributions/84.231.217.70), repeatedly re-inserts a section about Finland in Apartheid_outside_South_Africa, claiming our country's constitutional bilingualism constitutes "Åpartheid". This is utter nonsense, and has been repeatedly removed by logged-in editors. As you may have noticed, this anon. also inserts POV material in Finland-Swedish, and posts mock vandalism warnings on logged-in users' talk pages - thank you for removing that vandalism from my talk page. --Janke | Talk 22:33, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Automotive lighting
Nice pics on Automotive lighting. Don't suppose you could do a photo with just the foglamps? I think that would round it off nicely. You'd have to re-do all 4, I suppose. --KJBracey 22:14, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
humility..
Looking back on my comment, I too must apologize for their severity. I grow tired of this poll. After seventeen days of voting, and having typed in the bloody ranking list myself, I would have rather liked it to have some sense of plurality. The Factbook provided much of the information of the other countries, and CIA images are on many of the smaller ones, I thusly assumed that it could operate as a standard. However I must once again apologize for my question of the UN, although I support its mission, I find that due to its inability to enforce the resolutions of its members, the CIA has a singular purpose. I conceede living in the United States does to some extent endear me to the CIA.Nmpenguin 15:05, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Military history WikiProject Newsletter, Issue I
The Military history WikiProject Newsletter Issue I - March 2006 | |
|
Welcome to the inaugural issue of the Military history WikiProject's newsletter! We hope that this new format will help members—especially those who may be unable to keep up with some of the rapid developments that tend to occur—find new groups and programs within the project that they may wish to participate in. Please consider this inital issue to be a prototype; as always, any comments and suggestions are quite welcome, and will help us improve the newsletter in the coming months. Elder Scrolls (IV) skills
I had this posted on my own talk page until User: Some guy told me it's proper to respond on the talk page of the user that posted the message.
My thoughts were that if the articles were indeed expanded with in-depth information on how the skills were used/changed since previous titles that a single page for all of them would be too long. As for the images, I just thought they added a nice polish to the pages. I value your opinions & advice, and welcome any further comments. JovBlackheart 20:45, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Mannerheim signature copyvio?
Your commons file containing Mannerheim's autograph may be a copyvio, because it is a work that has originality. Although you have scanned it, the copyright belongs to Mannerheim's heirs. If you have, however, scanned the autograph from an official document bearing his signature, it does not enjoy copyright protection. I think you should expound on this in the Commons page of the file. --MPorciusCato 20:33, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

Re: Ratings
That would have been nice, wouldn't it? ;-)
Unfortunately, we're somewhat limited in terms of our ability to make sweeping changes like that, because the current levels (Top/High/Mid/Low) are standard ones being used across all WikiProjects, and everything is designed around them. Were we to go with something else, we would no longer be able to make use of the bot, for example. So this wouldn't be at all practical, at least at this point in time. Kirill Lokshin 12:25, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- The need to use the term "Low-Importance" for that fourth level has made it a rather unpopular option. Given the way the discussion has been heading, I would be very surprised if the idea of adding it enjoyed any significant support. So while it might be useful, I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon. Kirill Lokshin 12:55, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
