Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Army of Occupation a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Your picture of the Colorado river

This picture seems to appear on the web in a lot of places: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:ColoradoRiverAtSanLuis.jpg Since most of them quote the Wikipedia caption verbatim, I guess they are mostly getting it from Wikipedia. I am trying to reconcile this picture with what I see on Google Maps. It doesn't help that I can't seem to find the San Luis Colorado-Colonia Miguel Aléman Bridge. This is not a river; it's a road in a desert. See river and then compare it to road. They are quite dissimilar.

Replying about the bridge, don't know how reply works

You write: The San Luis Rio Colorado-Colonia Miguel Aléman Bridge is a toll bridge that connects San Luis Colorado in Sonora with Colonia Miguel Aléman in Baja California Norte along the mainline of the Carretera Federal 2 (MX 2). The actual bridge is at 32º29'42.37"N 114º50'08.19"W.

So, the location of the photo is not on the national border? The caption of the photo, "Colorado River as it exits the United States into Mexico beneath the San Luis Colorado-Colonia Miguel Aléman Bridge", seemed to imply that the picture was taken on the US/Mexico border. People have been using the picture to imply that the Colorado River doesn't make it into Mexico from the US. What I think I see on Google Maps is the diversion dam on the border, which diverts the river from its original course to a different course within Mexico. Is the reason there is no water in your picture that the river has been moved elsewhere, or that the river has ceased to exist before it gets to the US/Mexico border?

WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages

Thank you for your recent articles, including Eugen Iskritsky, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further. So Magog the Ogre I'm looking at my edit log three years after this note, and I'm like WHAT?!? You removed an image that I took with my own sh!++y iPhone camera on September 9, 2017 at 14:58:46 at the Driskill Hotel in Austin, photoshopped out Mike Collier, and added a background for copyright violation? I probably tagged because it says "taken by [http://www.demsign.com John Stafford]" with no clear statement that you are John Stafford, and nothing I could find on your user page; thus I likely determined this was not self-photographed. I may have missed the part of your userpage where you identify yourself as the owner of demsign.com.
