Katya Lely and Katya Ogonek[edit]

Hello again. The article named Katya Lely or Katya Ogonek was not written yet here on English Wikipedia. --Vejvančický (talk) 12:31, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But there are drafts in userspace at User:Scymso/Katya Lely and User:Scymso/Katya Ogonek. Neither of them are ready to be moved to the mainspace as neither cite and reliable sources that demonstrate that the subjects are notable as described in WP:BIO. – ukexpat (talk) 19:43, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on John Beernaerts requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

It is appreciated that you spend your time creating articles on Russian actors in the English Wikipedia. It is unfortunate though that the quality of the articles is so poor that they are amenable to speedy deletion (many have already been deleted, and others were saved by some people who would find it easier to starte these articles from scratch rather than to correct what you have created). In other words, you contribution is unfortunately useless. The best way to start making useful contributions is to start creating longer articles based on the reliable sources (with the sources also given in the articles). We have a lot of examples of good quality articles on actors, you can check Fyodor Shalyapin if you are willing to invest a lot of time or Veriko Anjaparidze if you do not want to spend much time but still want to help.--Ymblanter (talk) 13:28, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Corneliu Leu[edit]

The article Corneliu Leu has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability: only ref is to his blog.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
