Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with my first article Diss Grammar School. I have been absent for a while and would really like to get this page ready for publication. Any help at all would be very much appreciated.

Sefdik /0^0\ (talk) 10:31, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly do you need help with regarding the article? Are you stuck anywhere or do you have any questions? I'll be happy to answer them :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:55, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Oshwah, Thanks for coming back to me. I have restructured and tidied up the whole article. I just want some kind of crtitism about structure, content etc before I resubmit the draft. I do not want to get another rejection. Sefdik /0^0\ (talk) 18:17, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sefdik, I think you have an issue with notability more than anything else. You have zero sources that talk specifically about the grammar school, and per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES grammar schools are rarely, if ever, considered notable per Wikipedia's standards. You have given no indication in the draft as to what makes the school worth taking note of, and as far as I can tell there is nothing extraordinary about it. Unless something truly significant happened at Diss, then it is unlikely that your draft will ever be accepted. If you want more help, stop by the Teahouse, Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 22:42, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback. It's really annoying to me that Diss High School has a page, I see nothing notable about that either and they claim or seemingly claim fame to pupils who went to Diss Grammar School; Additionally there are some wiki pages that could link to Diss Grammar Scchool, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:People_educated_at_Diss_Grammar_School being one.

Your draft article, Draft:Diss Grammar School
