July 2021[edit]

Information icon Hi Sgitheanach12! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at John Key that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Not a big issue; just so you know. Disambiguation link notification for October 11[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited COVID-19 pandemic in Scotland, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ian Murray. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:00, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

November 2021[edit]

Letting ya know[edit]

I put Turnball's contradicting positions together in the same sub-section at the Australian head of state dispute article. GoodDay (talk) 19:12, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A word of advice[edit]

Not making any accusations here, but if you were to log out and make edits for the purpose of evading the edit-warring rules that wouldn't be a productive strategy. Always best to follow wikiprocedure; we've worked out best practice over the years and it's hard to argue with the success of the product. --Pete (talk) 00:09, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

cite news[edit]

At Frexit, you added this wp:bare URL citation:

Could you possibly replace it with a {{cite news}}? It would look something like this (feel free to recycle this, replacing the wrong info (name of reporter, date of article, date of access; also check guessed title):

  • Doe, John (1 January 2022). "France lacks the bottle for Brexit says Ric Zemmour". The Times. London. Retrieved 1 January 2022.

Thanks. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 19:45, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
