Matool or Mattool

[edit]

Please don't make copy and paste page moves. If you think the article is at the wrong title then go to Talk:Matool and using the instructions from Wikipedia:Requested moves request the move. Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 11:06, 27 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article A. Saeed has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Matool a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. You may move it yourself with the "Move" tab, or, if your account isn't 4 days old and/or if you didn't make at least 10 edits, you may request a move at WP:Requests for move. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 15:40, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

i try to move , but i cant. showing there is already a page named as Mattul. can you please do it for me. I dont have expiriance in En Wiki Shabeeb1 (talk) 15:49, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You may then request a move at WP:Requested moves. Just follow the instructions there. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 15:55, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

sorry Shabeeb1 (talk) 13:58, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There's nothing to be sorry for on this, but you may want to read our guideline on notability of subjects when creating articles. The criteria for articles are different on en.wiki while compared to ml.wiki. If you have sources suggesting that the subject meets our notability criteria, you're welcome to add to the article and/or comment at the AfD saying so. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 14:46, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
