Coyote

Hi, I saw that you added a sentence to this article - however the sentence was unsourced. It's very important that all content be sourced with reliable sources, especially when it comes to high quality articles like this one. It's also important to note that you should only mark an edit as minor if you are doing something small, like fixing a spelling error. Any time you add new information, it shouldn't be marked as a minor edit.

I also wanted to note that it's far more difficult to improve a high quality article than it is a stub or start class article, as the higher quality an article is the more comprehensive it will be. Minor edit

Hi, I saw that you added content but marked it as a minor edit. As mentioned prior, minor edits are only small edits like fixing a spelling. What you added to the article was not a minor edit.

Also, some notes on the material you added:

• Food scraps, pet food, and animal feces may attract a coyote to a trash can.

This is OK, but the source could be stronger.

• When a coyote does not fear people it may behave strangely, much like the coyote that walked into a Quiznos in Chicago and laid down next to refrigerator.

We can't guarantee that this was of the loss of territory or people not harassing coyotes. Something else could have contributed to this, as the coyote in question was never caught and tested for things like rabies. Keep in mind that with rabies, "normally excitable animals may become more docile", so theoretically this could have been caused by rabies more than a loss of territory or lack of fear. I've removed this from the page.

• Since coyotes are colorblind, seeing only in shades of gray and subtle blues, open camouflages, and plain patterns are ideal. The average male coyote weighs 8 to 20 kg (18 to 44 lbs) and the average female coyote 7 to 18 kg (15 to 40 lbs) a universal projectile that can perform between those weights is the .223 Remington. When hunting it is important the projectile expand in the target after the entry but before the exit, this way the projectile delivers the most energy. The .223 Remington has proven to deliver this energy effectively and reliably.

I'm a little concerned that this may be too detailed for the page.
