Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Shadowfax33, and Welcome to Wikipedia!

Thank you for your contributions to this free encyclopedia. I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Also, you may want to see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you decide that you need help, check out Getting Help below, ask at the help desk, or place {{Help me}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking or by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. Also, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. Below are some useful links to help you get started. Happy editing! Aaron Liu (talk) 21:56, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback, I was thinking wether to mark my edit as minor edit or not but I wasn't sure. Shadowfax33 (talk) 07:42, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of equipment of the Polish Land Forces, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Light utility vehicle. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:13, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in FB Beryl. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 17:31, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Listing separate orders

[edit]

Hello! We may want to minimize the frequency of listing equipment orders in List of equipment of the Polish Land Forces as it becomes overwhelming/info-overload. Typically if the reference article provides the total number of units ordered, it's redundant to list multiple orders made in the notes. However clearing confusion from situations involving donations to Ukraine, and upgrades - such as the Leopard 2A4 which was both donated to Ukraine and in the process of being upgraded into Leopard 2PL - that's when it makes sense to list the flow of inventory if you will. I wouldn't start listing each individual order in the notes column otherwise, at most I think a pop-up notes box is appropriate, as is done with the tank delivery section for the K2 Jacek415 (talk) 22:46, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I hope you are doing well. Sorry for the late reply, I agree with you that List of equipment of the Polish Land Forces page has been info-overloaded, therefore I won't add the donations to Ukraine notes or purchases as well I won't use the bullet points unless it is appropriate.
