If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Family tree of Fateh Din Shah Jahania requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Bazj (talk) 19:17, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Family tree of Fateh Din Shah Jahania. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willing to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 21:29, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for taking the time to contribute.

I'm a bot designed by another Wikipedia editor, and I'm here to help you with our deletion process. I noticed that while working on an article recently, you removed a speedy deletion template that tagged it for deletion. Don't get discouraged! Deletion discussions happen on Wikipedia all the time.

If you don't want the article to get deleted, please click here.

The link will take you to the talk page, where you can explain why the article should be kept. If you have any questions about this or need help with editing, you can ask at the Help desk.

We really hope you'll stick around to help make Wikipedia better! Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 21:31, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message, posted on my user-page. Firstly, if I may ,some technical points. I note that you are a new user here. When you post a message on a talk-page, it is normal to put it at the bottom of the page, not at the top. Additions made at the top of the page are not instantly obvious to the user, and may be overlooked. Secondly, In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. {{#if:|{{{2}}}|Thank you.

As to your actual comment regarding the article. I would not dispute the relevance of the family tree you posted, nor would I dispute the relationship being the people listed and the Prophet Mohammed. But neither of these were mentioned in the article. You cannot, must not assume that any of the names listed in the family tree are known to the wikipedia community at large; notability must be asserted in the article in an unarguable way. If you are able to improve the article so as to demonstrate within the text of the article a clear assertion of notability then I will happily restore the article for you to do this. Post a message here when you are ready for this to be done. Take note that I am on GMT+0 and please allow for time differences. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 22:28, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your concern that I cannot, must not assume that any of the names listed in the family tree are known to the wikipedia at large, therefore first I will make sure that these names are known to the wikipedia and then construct a family tree which links directly to Prophet Muhammad. This article is unique, because I am going to link 5 Personalities(Muhammad,Ali, Ali al-Hadi, Jalaluddin Surkh-Posh Bukhari and Jahaniyan Jahangasht) which are known to the wikipedia. I have enough material to justify my article. If you restore my article I will completely Link this tree to Prophet Muhammad which would be very informative for wikipedians. I know i am new on wikipedia but I am trying to gain experience and I am glad that you are helping me in this regard.(Shahenshahkillz (talk) 10:02, 3 February 2012 (UTC))[reply]

I have restored your article, and inserted a request on its talk page addressed to my fellow admins not to be in a hurry to delete. But I recommend that you improve the article soon. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 10:44, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou for restoring my article, but I cannot search it so that I can improve it. I am encouraged by your response and I will improve the article as soon as I can search it on wikipedia.(Shahenshahkillz (talk) 12:02, 3 February 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Both your articles are at present restored, and are where you left them in the encyclopedia. But both need urgent improvement.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 12:16, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for restoring both my articles. I will work hard to improve both the articles urgently. Thanks again.(Shahenshahkillz (talk) 12:56, 3 February 2012 (UTC))[reply]

File permission problem with File:Syed Tajamul Hussain Naqvi Leading the Muharram Procession..jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Syed Tajamul Hussain Naqvi Leading the Muharram Procession..jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 19:05, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Markazi Imambargah Shah e Najaf has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No reliable sources, no non-Wikipedia Google hits: Content is unverifiable, topic probably non-notable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
