Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Shalivahan2, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Mahabharata, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 17:30, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Karkota Empire. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 21:54, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
"Fixed typo"
[edit]Summarizing your edits as "Fixed typo" when you remove sourced info is misleading; please stop it. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 17:32, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Wikipedia pages. This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. 17:12, 2 March 2021 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Ror dynasty into List of Indian monarchs. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you.
As a general comment, leaving an edit summary of "fixed typo" is worse than nothing, because it's not what you did - you added content copied from another article. Please stop doing that.— Diannaa (talk) 12:22, 6 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use edit summaries that are misleading, intentionally or not, you may be blocked from editing.
Alivardi (talk) 19:47, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. SUN EYE 1 17:22, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page List of Indian monarchs has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. Daniuu (talk) 18:38, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Ravensfire. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Magadha, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You cannot keep adding large chunks of information to Wikipedia without a source. Wikipedia doesn't work that way. If you aren't sure how to use sources, there are some good links on the welcome message left at the top of this page, or just ask. Ravensfire (talk) 21:31, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- Please explain why you continue to use "fixed typo" as an edit summary for edits that clearly aren't that. —C.Fred (talk) 16:47, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
Discretionary sanctions notice
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to List of rulers of Malwa. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. RacoonyRE (talk) 17:41, 15 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, Shalivahan2, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you.
Alivardi (talk) 19:18, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at List of rulers of Malwa. Again, stop adding large edits without a single source. You will be blocked if you continue. Ravensfire (talk) 14:04, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia. Do you even bother to read any of these warnings? Ravensfire (talk) 17:15, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of rulers of Malwa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vakpati. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

About your recent edits.
[edit]Hi, It is nice that you are working on these articles of Indian history but recently you have done mass moves on some of the pages which created a disruption. There is big difference between a Kingdom and an estate or state. Also, this was done without developing any concensus, so I will be reverting some of your edits. If you want to move any of these state or estate articles, please follow the instructions at WP:RM#CM." [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Newalkar, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ®asteem Talk 00:54, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
