Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! 220 of ßorg 05:43, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for creating the 2021 New South Wales floods, page BUT it is extending into South East Queensland, per [1], and IIRC South Australia has related flooding too, so the page might need to be moved to 2021 Australian East coast flooding, or similar.
You don't need to go moving it yet, lets see what happens. Regards 220 of ßorg 05:49, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I hope the article will stay. The thing is, the floods have been very extensive on the east coast, particularly in New South Wales. Not to mention the news coverage and the drama that's been going there. Besides, southeast QLD is just receiving some flash flooding and high rivers - It usually does get some flood anyway every one or two years at this time of the year. But, the SE QLD flood is not that significant as it is in NSW, and most importantly it is not a disaster zone (yet). Even if it is and becomes another 2010-11 Queensland floods, maybe someone can create an article for that. But I doubt it will be a memorable flood. Again, the NSW one is a memorable case as it's described as "one in a 50 year" event and it is rather widespread in the region. So there really should be an article for it, IMO. - Shaqeeta 05:57, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sure it needs an article, just depends on how extensive it is/becomes. I heard on the ABC radio news that the same weather system is going to 'hit' Victoria next. 220 of ßorg 14:37, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yep. But I think the QLD storm will end today, because the weather seems clear from tomorrow. See the talk page of NSW floods article, where I started this very topic. We will converse about this there and gather opinions from others. - Shaqeeta 23:57, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
