Welcome to Wikipedia, Shark2433086! Thank you for your contributions. This is an encyclopedia, so remember that it's a necessity to include references listing reliable websites, newspapers, articles, books and other sources you have used to write or expand articles. Please understand that these sources should verify the information in a fair and accurate manner. However, you must not copy and paste text you find anywhere, except for short quotations, marked as such with quote marks and carefully cited to the source the quote was taken from. New articles and statements added to existing articles may be deleted by others if unreferenced or referenced poorly or if they are copyright violations. See referencing for beginners for more details.

Information icon Hello, I'm DaxServer. I noticed that you recently removed content from Mir Osman Ali Khan without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. — DaxServer (talk to me) 09:04, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at List of largest empires, you may be blocked from editing. The sources you cited for the Chola dynasty entry do not even remotely verify the information you added. Misrepresenting sources like this is completely unacceptable. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mughal Empire, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Persian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Kautilya3. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kakatiya dynasty, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 19:45, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Wikipedia pages, as you did to Kerala. This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Sumanuil 22:18, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at British Empire shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to List of countries by GDP (nominal), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with the policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Old Tamil into Tamil language. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 01:35, 26 January 2022 (UTC) hello, I actually wrote it Old Tamil and copied it into Tamil.[reply]

Per the Manual of Style page on India-related articles, avoid the use of Indic scripts in the lead sections or infoboxes. Instead, use International Phonetic Alphabet pronunciation guides, which are more international. Exceptions are articles on the script itself, articles on a language that uses the script, and articles on texts originally written in a particular script. This does not apply to articles that are not predominantly within the scope of WikiProject India.

Consensus and common practice among WikiProject Pakistan editors is that the lead sentence of an article may contain Urdu or other transliterations in regional script(s) such as Shahmukhi, Perso-Arabic, Naskh etc., where applicable or relevant. IPA may be used additionally to aid pronunciation. Articles under the scope of WikiProject Pakistan are not covered under WP:INDICSCRIPT. Note that this consensus only applies to Pakistan-related articles. The use of Urdu and other non-Indic scripts on articles outside the scope of Pakistan-related articles, such as India-related articles, may be subsumed under WP:INDICSCRIPT.

Gotitbro (talk) 11:22, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The scripts you have added will be reverted if they haven't been already. Please do not add non-English scripts et all to India related articles. Gotitbro (talk) 11:24, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. You have already been warned about adding WP:INDICSCRIPTS to articles, yet you continue. Furthermore, you have added unsourced, unattested birth/death places and other WP:ORIGINALRESEARCH to multiple articles.

You have been warned about this multiple editors. Unless you are looking for a ban, please stop. Gotitbro (talk) 05:30, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
