Welcome![edit]

Hello, Sherpaofsherpas, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions have removed content without an explanation. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  (User:Wtwilson3)  — 17:55, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Help me! why can't add more words in some edit?[edit]

Why can't I add more words in some edits? Please help me with... to add more in some edits. Sherpaofsherpas (talk) 02:55, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Sherpaofsherpas – I looked at your edits and one of the reasons you may be having trouble is your level of English. You do sound like an intelligent person, yet your level of knowledge of English appears to be a bit low. You may want to improve that moreso if you would like to edit the English Wikipedia. – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 04:03, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

August 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm AlanM1. I noticed that you recently removed some content from History of Nepal without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.

Please do not revert again without explaining yourself on the article's talk page. You cannot simply remove over 15 KB of text without explanation and expect it to stand – it will not. Any changes to the etymology of the word need to be cited in the article to a reliable source, since this is a subject that is often contested and we need to present sources for those we choose to include in order to remain reliable. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 05:19, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:03, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Shrestha. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Shrestha was changed by Sherpaofsherpas (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.907654 on 2014-08-18T10:44:56+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 10:44, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to {{help me}} requests: This question was already answered above by Paine Ellsworth. You will need to rephrase the question and give more specifics about the problem you are having. The article you were trying to edit and what happens when you try. Please provide as much detail as possible. It is also not productive, and somewhat disruptive, to use 3 help templates when one would suffice. I will be watching this page, and will return to answer your question when you provide some specifics about your issue. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  (User:Wtwilson3)  — 16:03, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
when I edit like 'Newar' I can't add my words.Sherpaofsherpas (talk) 16:07, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Are you talking about this article: Newar people? Because I don't see any evidence that you've ever contributed to this article. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  (User:Wtwilson3)  — 16:37, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

TO: Sherpaofsherpas

Read a book on Newars before you decide on editing and deleting the informational knowledge provided by other users in the Shrestha page. At least others and I have provided proper references and studies to back our points. You keep on accusing me of saying what I wrote is false or misleading but not once have you been successful in countering my writings with substantial evidence to prove your statements. That is not how it works in Wikipedia. Plus, you don't seem to have the will to understand and learn and accept new things people like that may go against your personal view. So Wikipedia is probably not the place for you. Either put references to what you write or what you write will continue to be Undo or simply deleted by Wiki bots or other insightful contributors. Nepalichoro255 (talk) 17:36, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you continue to delete other people's comments and present your views with no credible proof like you've been doing, I will have to report you for vandalism. Either present your ideas in a decent way with credible evidences or leave this discussion. Nepalichoro255 (talk) 10:31, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. Stickee (talk) 23:21, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
