The article Faculty of Management and Accounting has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability of this faculty, or of the entire university (which has no Wikipedia article). See Wikipedia:College_and_university_article_guidelines#Faculties_and_academic_colleges

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have struck out the statement that the university didn't have an article: you had spelled it wrong so I didn't find it at first. PamD 13:45, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Towers[edit]

I have reverted your recent edit to List of tallest towers in the world. The reason is that we draw a distinction between skyscrapers, towers and other tall structures. A skyscraper ... "is a tall, continuously habitable building of many floors, usually designed for office, commercial and residential use". A tower listed in List of tallest towers in the world is ... "a tall man-made structure, always taller than it is wide, meant for regular access by humans, but not for living in or office work, and are self-supporting or free-standing...". Tall structures are another things such as a radio mast, a monument, a chimney, etc. Both Tehran International Tower and Sepehr Tower are skyscrapers and would be listed on List of tallest buildings in the world if they were among the 300 tallest in the world. Astronaut (talk) 12:46, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your comment on my talk page arrived while I was writing the above. Please note that this has absolutely noting to do with the country of Iran, but with the definition of towers and skyscrapers. Indeed, it was me who reorganised the Iran section on List of tallest structures in the world by country to give it a more reliably sourced basis. The List of tallest towers in the world correctly lists Milad Tower (which, incidentally, I have often removed from List of tallest buildings in the world and elsewhere), and does not include other skyscrapers like Burj Khalifa, Empire State Building, and so on. Oh, and please do not presume racism or political bias where there is none. Astronaut (talk) 16:03, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

Please do not restore pages that you have created yourself once they have been redirected or deleted, as you did at Allameh Tabatabai Management School. The page was redirected to the other page per a deletion discussion. Please respect that deletion discussion and the fact that your article had to be redirected to the other page. Thank you.

Speaking of which, your message arrived on my talk page as I was finishing this. If you are violating a policy on your article, we can't "respect" it after it has been deleted or redirected. You are about to violate the three revert rule if you do not stop reverting. Also, be sure to sign your comments when commenting on talk pages, using ~~~~. Three revert rule warning[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Allameh Tabatabai Management School shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
