Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from 2016 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations into 2024 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 23:56, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I heard Mozambique will host it next year. CAF have that up for a while but their page was removed. But it's still going to host it. ShopperSignal78 (talk) 00:02, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Riyadh Expo 2030 Bid Logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

OK, so I think you should keep only one and for the other you do a redirect to the first one that you kept. Pindrice (talk) 00:20, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Article 2030 FIFA World Cup qualification (CAF). Hi, I reverted that back to a redirect. It far to early for that. It want to create, put it in a sandbox or WP:DRAFT until it is nearer the time. I also moved the above to draft. You can't have an unsourced article in mainspace. More so, it the 2030 based. It is unsuitable for mainspace. Create it is a sandbox until it is suitably referenced. Do not create unsourced mainspace articles. It is uncool, and out of process. 2030 is far too out as well for a mainspace article. scope_creepTalk 08:03, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to 2030 FIFA World Cup qualification. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because qualification for the 2026 edition has not commenced, and details on qualification for 2030 are still in a very advanced stage (WP:TOOSOON). I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

2025 World Men's Handball Championship[edit]

They are only two spots under the Men's EHF Euro 2024 just for two finalists, not semifinalist, four will not count since they're only two spots under that and 11 spots for the European Qualifiers. So if someone adds semi-finalist confusion like i noticed will be reverted for that. ShopperSignal78 (talk) 20:54, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Denmark in 2023 winners spot doesn't count since they already qualified as co-host. So i reverted i back to the finalist France. ShopperSignal78 (talk) 20:53, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

2024 European Men's Handball Championship[edit]

The sky blue i added is for the 2025 World Men's Handball Championship co-hosts, in this case i added it for Norway since they are one of the co-hosts for next year's edition. ShopperSignal78 (talk) 21:35, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will look to do the same for Croatia and Denmark since they already qualified automatically also as co-hosts for the 2025 World Men's Handball Championship. ShopperSignal78 (talk) 21:36, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

It's okay to add new colors to a table, but please do it without using deprecated attributes.

In general you shouldn't use deprecated tags or attributes. Today they still work fine, but in the future they probably won't anymore. And I assume when that happens you not going to volunteer to correct all.

File permission problem with File:EuroBasket 2025 Logo.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:EuroBasket 2025 Logo.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 04:13, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
