Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Camp Kabeyun has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kabeyun/261983012976#!/pages/Kabeyun/261983012976?v=info.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. The article Camp Kabeyun has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks the coverage in independent reliable sources required to meet WP:GNG

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nuttah (talk) 07:45, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Camp Kabeyun, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Camp Kabeyun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Repeated deletions at Kay Lehman Schlozman

[edit]

Hi Signalridge, why are you repeatedly deleting information from the page Kay Lehman Schlozman without explanation? I see no WP:BLPPRIVACY argument, given that the information you're removing has been published in multiple independent reliable sources including publications close to the article's subject. WP:BLPNAME clearly identifies properly sourced immediate family members as appropriate for inclusion in a thorough BLP, even if those family members are not themselves notable. What reason is there to delete this information? - Astrophobe (talk) 21:11, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

She's my mother. I'm Daniel. I wrote the obit that you cited. That won't be good enough for you, but it's the truth

Signalridge, it's good to talk to you Daniel! I'm Samuel. Let me put my initial question into context. The problem with this sort of thing is that on an encyclopedia that has serious and ever-present problems with vandalism, when people delete information without explanation it is often not done in a particularly collaborative spirit. So when I see that happen, I always try to get it out into the open and straightforwardly ask what the motivation is before I do anything else. Of course this is the best outcome: I'm glad that you took an interest in cleaning up the page and improving the flow, and I definitely think you identified and removed some parts that weren't so biography-like, although it's also encouraged to use a light touch when editing the pages of people who are really close to you. I'm also really glad to have the chance to ask you a question: any time that we can include an image that complies with Wikipedia's image copyright guidelines in an article, it's a great improvement to the page. Is there any chance that you have an image that you/someone close to you would be willing to use on this page? Thanks for hearing me out, and for your contributions to the encyclopedia! - Astrophobe (talk) 08:01, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
