Proposed deletion of Alisha Pillay[edit]

The article Alisha Pillay has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Alisha Pillay. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, without the risk of speedy deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Alisha Pillay[edit]

To demonstrate that she's notable enough for an article on here, you need to be able to show that she meets one or more of the criteria at WP:MUSICBIO. And her own Facebook and Myspace pages (pretty much the only sources you used) don't count as reliable sources for Wikipedia's needs, because they're not established media which are independent of her own marketing team; the only valid sources are real media coverage in major newspapers, major music magazines, television coverage (e.g. on MuchMusic or eTalk or Entertainment Tonight, that kind of thing), and on and so forth.
