Thanks re Eurovision Home Concerts note[edit]

I truly appreciate your comments about my work on this Eurovision Home Concerts series. From your notes I see you appreciated the series from day 1 when they put it up on 14 April where you say: "Eurovision's YouTube channel did a great job broadcasting Home Concerts and this Friday, more artists will perform their hits". Isn't it fascinating how this series makes us revisit Eurovision in fresh new eyes and you rediscover the songs and how beautiful they are? You appreciate the thought put beyond them. Then come the covers with a whole new take on the songs they are covering? My heart melted. The moment I started watching the three videos up till now for April 3, 10 and 17, my first instinct was to open the Eurovision 2020 page on Wikipedia and there was only one lonely sentence about the series. Right there and then I decided it was well worth my while to work on this and develop it. So I created a section. And while watching, every time I heard an artist, I would add his or her name to the list after verifying their names and proper spelling. So the section you see now was a reflection of what I was watching the videos in real time. That's the reason for all these edits as they were real time for me. Then, and I am on episode 3 and trying to edit, suddenly Sergey Lazarev and Elena Paparizou come on my screen to sing a duo version of "You're the Only One" and suddenly I started crying as I found their duo interpretation so touching, genuine, impressive and heart warming. And I knew I had done the right thing on Wikipedia. I was amazed by all the artists, but the series hit a nerve in me after having confined myself in my home for weeks now. But these three minutes by Sergey and Elena just melted my heart. So as a token of thanks I dedicate to you that interpretation here. Enjoy! I know you worked a lot on the "Love, Shine a Light" Eurovision show. But you must know I adore that song by Katrina and if you would go to my User page, just below my multilingual greetings, I say "Love, shine a light ... and werldwayd wishing for you the world" (it's a play on my edit name). So there a link between what you did for the Love, Shine a Light page, and you did quite a lot, and my whole belief in Wikipedia as a great work of love and dedication to shine for the world. So through this section, it is a beacon to benefit from the Home Concert Series. So, since "Love Shine a Light" means so much to me as well, I dedicate the music video of that great song to you as well here. As you see, an esteemed colleague deleted everything I added in one sweeping revert. So knowing less by Eurovision 2020 readers is more I guess. I was planning a live editing process for day 4 of the broadcasts, but I won't bother. It's futile. Just remind you that the fourth episode is on in about 30 minutes. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Major 2nd. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.

Okay, unfortunately, as Thomas points out, “editing under another account because the prior one was blocked” is exactly what block evasion is. And it’s not allowed. And while there are opportunities for second chances, the problem is, you’re still making the same mistakes you did with your prior account. You are still adding the same type of bad screenshots, and add a lot of minor details that aren’t helpful. As such, you are blocked again.
